Kamyk's i30N PB Performance Pack

I got first info - it isn't too optimistic.
Something is wrong and my car still entering emergency mode with higher power and torque.
Gained power and torque without emergency mode today is 308bhp and 457nm.
Tomorrow last hard road tests to check those values outside the dyno and......that is over for my oem turbo.
It is hard for me to think that few months ago it was 320bhp and 477nm but with problems.
Maybe it is time to stop or maybe better turbo.....hard to say.

It's not about the peak figures you are pushing. The limp mode can have multiple reasons. It can be a bad o2 sensor or a torque-peak happening at wrong RPMs for example. Get the car to TarmoT's tuner and let him run a full diagnostic.

This is TarmoT tuner. He is cooperating with car-tec automotive engineering from Spain. They made the ecu and did few corrections to it .
PS. about o2 sensor - they are offline - cat sensors and gpf/opf sensors.

I'm totally devastated again.
308bhp - 457nm = limp mode again on road.
300bhp - 428nm = will be tested on road....
Today I receive the car and will know what is going on - first info it is not turbo problem.

Obviously you've put a lot blood, sweat and tears (and money) into your car. Why don't you go the last step and bring the car to a professional for i30N-ECUs even when it means to drive a few more kilometers?

Where exactly - mt-tuning solutions in Stuttgart ? It is only 1200km from my home in one direction.

Well, yes. Just because he works with several Ns per week. Even motorsport enthusiasts bring their cars to him. He has the most experience. I searched a lot on the internet, IG, fb and within my local N-group (200+ members) and in the end everyone pointed at MTT. Of course there are a lot of good tuners out there, mainly for VAG models, but the N is different (as you may have noticed). For best results you need an expert. You can continue with your experiments or you do it right.
My current software is okay (was done by a well-known tuner in my state) but it has some issues and it lacks some tweaks the original tuner can't provide (his own words). That's why I made an appointment with MTT in a week (600 km one way) and in the end that's probably the best I could do for my car (I've spent a lot of money in).
You could just grab your wife/girlfriend/whatsoever drive to Stuttgart, drop off your car and spent some nice days in this beautiful area (Black forrest and so on) and after a few days you drive back with a happy misses and a great software.
Just my two cents.

Ok here I'm again. Received the car and here is the story.
First of all - little shock - my car ecu software is totally different than TarmoT car.....my car is MY19, he had 18.
Car Tec from Spain known about various versions of the i30n ecu and still don't know where is this limp limiter and they told that my ecu was totally different.
For 100% there is somekind of limiter in the software but this limp mode shows no error codes so it is hard to take this limiter off.
There is other i30n close to my city in Poland with exactly the same problem (317hp and 470nm but got limp once on street).
I know that this guy will give back the car to his tuner for two weeks so they will try to find the problem.
My actual tuner (TarmoT ones) tried to find this limiter but with no luck. It starting to appear somewhere about 4800rpms and 440nm. Car goes in limp mode withot any info on car display or any info from connected to the car computer (log reader).
If there is no info - can't solve the problem because where to find it. But TarmoT tuner will be in contact with tuner from that other i30n and told me that he will contact mt-tuning too to ask them about this problem.
For now my car is only low tuned - 300bhp and 430nm.
With 308bhp and almost 460nm my car goes in limp mode when my tuner drove it home and reduced from 5th to 4th gear....
It can be connected with rev maybe ? In my case it was almost the same scenario - 2nd gear to 3rd and about 5k rpm - then limp on multiple times.
Another weird thing - today I drove my car home really hard and almost for the whole time I can easy see overboost icon.
I didn't see it for a long time . Now it is almost everytime I press gas pedal hard on 2-3-4-5 gears.
Boost pressure is now set from 1,1 to 1,45 bar and problem is starting somewhere from 1,46-48 bar and 4800rpm.

Next info from my tuner - if I upgrade the turbocharger - my ecu will kill it with limp mode too.

Yes sir, it’s a tuner problem. There are both torque and boost limiters, they haven’t dealt with either appropriately. Until those safety limiters removed or are adjusted to accept the correct amount of peak boost and torque, you’ll keep having the issue with limp mode.

Today I refueled my car and tested it on my "racing" straight road. Few quick starts and higher speed with max rpm's on every gear from 1 to 4. No problems with limp mode.
For now the car will stay like this because I need to go back to work soon - still few month before retirement.
I'll have to think about new tuner or replacing the turbo and then new tuner but I think not too soon.

Kamky155, this man has hit the nail on the head. I had the same problem with mine, finding a tuner who could tune my hybrid I30n. I had extreme boost cutting due to torque limiters. This was tuned by a “professional” tuner who are well known and tune many cars including super cars. I had to drive an 8 hour round trip to Courtenay sport as they are the N guru’s over here in the UK. They tuned my car and it performed incredibly with 0 cut. I feel you’re in the same position as me. You are going to reputable tuners in your country, but it’s known this ecu is a huge pain in the ass. Best thing you can do is have Klassen or MTT tune your car, if you don’t want to travel then I advise you ask them to tune it remotely. You obviously need to find somebody with a Dyno and the appropriate equipment who is willing to do this. I’ve been in your place and it’s horrible, something you love and have spent a lot of time working on isnt playing ball and you will end up falling out of love with it because of this reason. If you want bigger power, you’ll just need to take a hit and make a holiday out of visiting one of the big hitter tuners, or spend a bit of time organising them to do it remotely, otherwise you’ll wind up chasing your tail forever more. I just trying to pass on my 2 pence of experience from early 2020 where I had the same issue.

Thanks Dan. My actual ecu was loaded and checked by TarmoT tuner but it was made remotely by Car Tec from Spain.
After each test it was send back, corrected again installed and send back for correction few times.
The bad info was like I said before - my ecu software was different than their software in i30N from Spain.
The problem is like You guys said - I need pro tuner with great experience with our N's. There are few for now in europe but none in Poland. At this time I'm staying with those 300/430 values and I need to make a decision - go like you say to pro tuner with a longer trip or wait some time for maybe better turbo and then longer trip.
For now tuning my car again to lets say 320hp and 470nm is not worth the trip because of the turbo limit.
TarmoT tuner told me that this last score of 300/430 was made when the car was tired and hot after previous tests and score can be better than this last one.
My vacation is about to end so it is too late now for anything else.
However, from february I will be on retirement and from this time I will have a lot of time for the car and another experiments.
At this moment I need to stop and think about it.

If you are not afraid of driving longer distances I can vouch for mt-tuning solutions. He is located near Stuttgart, Germany but knows the ECU like no other person I got to meet so far (he can even do stuff like increase the max rpms). Will give my car to him when the time for a tune has come.
Was there a week ago. He is an expert on i30N. 275hp ->315hp / 400Nm -> 480Nm with 102RoZ / wagner gen2 / 2020 Hatch with the C0 Turbo.

Just go to his instagram:

For now I'm waiting for few infos from my tuner, mmtuning and courtenay sport.
My tuner told me that other polish tuner is testing i30N again and he did with stock turbo 320hp/470nm in a car that had the same problem like mine with limp modes. He told me to wait a bit more with turbo/pump and mttuning.
If everything will go well tomorrow I will send my oem ecu to mttuning to check is it really different than theirs.
Another wait is for courtenay - I asked them about their hpfp.

In the meantime I ordered few gadgets from N Garage in Australia :
1 - dual gauge vent pod - in european version
2 - licence plate leds
3 - magnetic oil drain plug
4- GFB Deceptor Pro II BOV

I'm really curious about this baby:
