Kamyk's i30N PB Performance Pack

Last part of the puzzles arrived - solenoid:

It looks like plug and play at first sight but doesn't have installation manual at all.
Tomorrow it will be installed.

I bought a big tools box to have all needed parts and tools in the car:

Solenoid installed - only little improvement.

Another gadget - air filter cover - great to see filter condition without opening the box.

where can you buy the air box lid sperate? Great work!

Another bad day - I need to change front window. The glass is broken but not from stone chip - the crack looks like scratch from high material stress. Original hyundai front glass is really expensive - about 600 euro + seals + glue + work..........so I left my car in service and reported a damage to the insurer.
PS. I found substitute front glass only for about 170 euro but I will try this time using insurance.

Another gadget - hyundai oem wind deflectors for front only:

Those wind deflectors don't have any 3M tape but I think I will use mine 3M VHB the leanest one I have just for safety.

After almost two months of waiting last carbon parts arrived.
Here are pictures before installation - front and from underneath to see that 3M tape.

Few words about those parts and quality.
Pros - looks great.
Cons - very thin ( agains the light you can see how thin is it) and delicate (pliable and easy bending).

I'm really worried about this 3M tape. Why - first of all - because I have those parts now (almost december) so I will have problem with installation - required assembly temperature is 15*C (59*F) but now in Poland is now max 5-7*C (41-45*F) and my car is parked outside.
So I'm thinking about disassemble the dashboard from the car, take it home and maybe use some kind of glue instead of 3M tapes.....
Other two parts - buttons covers and console cover don't have to be perfect like dashboard and there can be 3M tape.

I got tired fighting with those covers today. Disassembled the dashboard and toke it home.

Now waiting for bigger one to glue proper. I fought with it for a long time because 3M tape catch really fast and it is hard to make corrections on the whole lenght. After it as you can see on the pictures it is pressed with clasps....
On smaller one I used thinner 3M tape and it looks really good after glued.

I have the same ones as he used my dash for RHD models not fitted them yet but good to see how you did it :)

All carbon parts are installed. It wasn't easy at all especially the console cover and small button covers.
I'm worried about these two parts because of the ambient temperature.
One thing I can recommend for sure - thinner 3M tape. In my case I didn't use it on console cover because my 0.6mm tape run out and I used stock one and I can see that this part sticks out more.
Here are pictures after:

The only thing it is not installed are wind deflectors. It is too cold and when I tried to try them on they crackled so I think they will lay somewhere and wait for the spring.

Great weather today so I went shopping and some car testing later.
After GFP BOV installation I tested the car again with full throttle without problems in full recilc and full atmosphere.
Car is great on recirc - much faster on 2nd gear - imo. Because on 100% atmosphere it sometimes shot air twice I ordered new solenoid:

Hi,
Did you order this with or without wiring harness? Thanks 🙏

If we talk about solenoid for bov - no - it comes with additional plug and rest of the wires are plug and play. You can see it here:

The oem flaxpipe is 55mm diameter in one of the points and aftermarket is 70 or 76mm on full length.

hello guys
i have a hyundai i30n fastback 2019 with gpf and i am wondering if i get some sound, cracking and hp without changing anything else just flexpipe 70/70 from HDT?

Few months passed and I became civilian and from now on happy military retirement.
I think it is time do do last steps for my car and last important mods.
I put some money aside and decided to buy last parts:
- turbo upgrade
- hpfp upgrade
- oil cooler

After long time here on the forum I stated to buy more expensive parts instead of trying cheaper and less known.
For this moment some parts are ordered, some aren't.

Here is my list of choices:
1- Stage 3+ 450HP+ Upgrade Turbo MHI 28231-2GTB1 for Hyundai i30N
2- HYUNDAI MOTORSPORT UPRATED FUEL PUMP - I30N & TCR
3- AIRTEC Motorsport Hyundai i30N Oil Cooler Kit
4- HYUNDAI I30N & KONA N TURBO TO FRONT PIPE STUD & NUT KIT
5- Amsoil Signature Series Synthetic Motor Oil 3,78 l 0W-30
6- K&N Filters HP-1004 oil filter
7- 2x 76mm exhaust metal gaskets
8- Prestone coolant
9- Funk Motorsport Turbo Blanket i30N
10- oil gaskets, pump gaskets, turbo gaskets
11- Mishimoto Magnetic Drain Plug

I think the whole ordering process will take me about month or more.
Biggest problem from the list are parts from UK - duty customs and time.

After ordeing and receiving all those parts there will be last and biggest problem - where to mount those parts and where to tune my car for the last time.

There are two plans:
- installing in my hyundai service and tune in last place (there will be problems for sure)
- installing and tune in MTTuning in Germany (2500km trip+hotel+fuel+covid problems on border).
I will decide after I get all parts.
