Yeah that's the impression I got tbf, I just decided to go with Smiths Hyundai in Peterborough as they were the only dealer available through coast2coast and it saved me the hassle of haggling too much.

Do you mind me asking how much you got yours for monthly? PCP I'm assuming? I ordered a manual FL with N Light Seats and Shadow Grey colour for either £10k deposit and £280 p/m or £8k deposit and £340 p/m.

I ordered from the same place via Coast2Coast. White Manual, that's it.
£500 deposit, £455pcm. Worked out that every £500 deposit is about £11pcm reduction.

Yeah, I was offered it for £399 with free N floor mats thrown in.
Diamond Brite is a lot better than it used to be but it's not worth that much. The car would need to be properly prepared with decontamination and single stage polish and I guarantee the dealerships won't do that.

Would work out better to get a professional to do it with a better product.

Yeah I think that's the same offer I was given, and then like £200/£250 for alloy cover.

Think I'll just go down the route of a professional detailer, thanks for the advice 🙂

The alloy cover might be worth it. If you can get an alloy repaired for £50 you've done good, so 4 of those and you've broken even. I'm sharing mine with the wife for a while so I'm going to get it I think 😂

Yeah that's a fair point actually. I'll speak to them and see what price it is and if it's £250 or less for the 4 years I'll go for it!

Yeah much better than I was getting elsewhere. I'll likely increase deposit once I'm done buying all the baby stuff 🙄😂

3 months is a long haul though. When did you place your order?

That's good to hear, main reason I'm not going for the bigger deposit is becasue of all the upgrades/changes I wanna do to it 😂

Yeah that's the main downside for me tbh, I places my order on the 20th of June (basically a month ago), so worst case scenario it's a 5 month wait. I'm getting so impatient but I'm hoping it'll be worth the wait 😂

Wow that's a thing? Is that specific to Germany or everywhere?
Ya I decided to buy it in November now so I can drive it 6 months later, was told 3-4 months normally but with the current situation 6 months is more likely. Also I drove across Germany yesterday and noticed 95 octane gas costs 1,89€ on autobahn... Vpower racing 102 above 2€ per litre... Having second thoughts right now with normal prices in Berlin averaging above 1,66€ now...

Welcome to the quirky world of Hyundai options. No panoramic sunroof option in UK, no speed limiter, no speed camera warnings on the satnav. Why would you not offer these things as extras even if not standard.

Then there's the woeful lack of options for wheels, trim, etc. and lack of accessories, even down to clothing and all the other tat that every other manufacturer offers..

Hyundai could be making a killing from driving enthusiasts but don't seem to be bothered to back up their great vehicles with the other stuff that N-thusiast owners want.

Have you drove the car?

The sat nav does have speed camera warnings, all part of the bluelink service - which is fantastic.

Today was my first real blast of the FL and it is much quicker than my old pre FL, just a lot stronger if that's the right word, especially higher up the gears

Over how many months?

£500 is very steep. Given the quality of the coatings and the normal very poor prepwork. At one point they offered it to me for free and although I told them I didn't want it repeatedly, they kept pushing for it.

Fair to say I didn't order from them 😂
Yes Leeds Hyundai offered me a very poor deal so got what I think was a good deal from Worcester which included free gap insurance free wheel and tyre insurance and free supagaurd not that I would have paid for them anyway.
