i30 N 2021 i30 N

Sorry if its already been posted in here,

Does anyone have a digital version of the manual/handbook for the car?

Thanks in advance
I'm sure there was a link posted on here quite a while ago. I downloaded it on 11 May. The pdf is too large for me to attach here though.
PS - I think it's actually for the Australian Market but seems to cover UK requirements fine. I've found it invaluable.

my new hyundai i30n arrived today.....call me an idiot but I did not know you have to order the more expensive seats before they light up, I thought every car had seats with the N logo lighting up but now when I look at my new car I can see the difference with this and the demonstrator...whish I'd got the lighter seats now

you would need the seat package for that :)

oh, that means it's even duller in the inside, I thought the lighter seats were only to lose weight therefore go faster and that I would
have no need for them?.......................does everyone order their car with N-light seats? the 2 demonstrators I saw both had them,
I didn't realise that until I saw my car today :(

i will not order them with the light seats, but from what i see on this forum most of the people do

They are bucket seats by design and lighter, thus they are more track ready so to speak. Plus they have the premium leather which alone would be a huge plus for me and then we have the overall look of them plus the N light. On the downside you don’t get electric adjustment and memory function, I assume that also adjustment as such is more limited. I wouldn’t dwell on the fact that you don’t have N logo, as this is really minor thing in my book and standard seats has their benefits.

I am confused as to why someone would pay an extra £400-500 for lighter seats only, maybe someone can tell me the pros and cons?

They're also thinner, so there's more leg room in the back. This is why I've ordered them.

thanks a lot guys for your answers, a lot clearer now.................I did like the shining N-logo though........I really will have to find someone or company locally who can improve the interior look, I think at least some ambient lighting professionally done will make me feel better about my new car.

So here are some photos from the weekend where I attend a Car Meeting here in Bucharest. I'm still the ONLY i30N FL DCT in Romania so that makes me pretty unique for this type of events.

I'm ~2100Km right now and the car is worth every damn penny. I love everything about this car, the gearbox (DCT), the seats (N Light Seats), how it drives, literally everything.

i30N FL DCT

@speedking I think that pre-FL is benefiting hugely due to the current situation in world. I mean 2 year car which did cost 26k EUR brand new hasn’t basically lost its value. On the other hand I’m a bit skeptical about FL and 37k EUR holding that price tag after 2 years at even 30k EUR mark, plus gas and tax price that will most likely go up won’t help in the next 5 years to resell either. I guess I have my answer, though I still would like someone to prove me wrong, so I could place an order for the brand new one :D
That is exactly what whe were hearing when we, the early adopters, bought the first N's and look at their residual value now.
I look at it from another angle.
It seems obvious to me that the FL is the last of a dying breed. In 4 years time it will be impossible to by a new hothatch powered by a petrol engine, thanks to environment regulations 😔.
There still will be a lot of petrolheads who will want one though, so I think the residual value will be high, even procentually higher than it is now for the N.

Let's hope Hyundai have a good electric N car for us in 3 -4 years time 😁

Sorry for the random question, I've been thinking about it ever since I test drove the DCT N but can't find a definite answer anywhere.

When in Drive (D) if you come to a stop and apply the handbrake, are the clutches disengaged like they are when you apply the foot brake?

I test drove one today with the n light seat and did not find them particularly comfortable, quite firm, prefer the cloth seats from a comfort perspective and still provide good support.
