Ok, so I'm sorry but I have no idea what @Bigbruiseral was sayng in his last post, just came here to say, that even to it is a hard comparison switching from the stock 19" summer pirellis to 18" 235/40 winter tyres, but I must say it seems it was an awesome choice. Better comfort and lighter steering, will see in the long run, but I'm seriously leaning towards 18" summer tyres after pirellis right now.

Would using non-stock rim size affect the insurance validity?.
7,5x18" is the manual recommended (winter) rim size. Only the tyre size is not.Would using non-stock rim size affect the insurance validity? I always felt this is a grey area and its ok to do it, until things go wrong. For this reason I have always stuck with the stock size, regardless of being winter or summer tyres.
