Hey! Nice to see someone else with OZ Rally wheels on! I uhmed and ahhed for ages about the colour. Eventually went with white.
They look great though. Will be easier to clean than mine too!

I have the 19" version of the same rims
I am on the market for a set of winter tyres, and from my experience of running the previous car on tyres of the exact size to the summer factory supplied tyres, I had no issues at all. The second set of rims are also identical to the set supplied. To save cost I'd rather just change the rubber twice per year.
Finally got around to putting the alloys on with some winter tyres. Stayed with 19inch rims, and went with Bridgestone Weather control A005's. Just need to clean the car again now..
So just to recap, could people who experience snow/ice during winters share what winter tyres they're going with for their Ns?? I know some of you shared what tyres they got but just wanna make sure about the type of winter you're preparing for?
For me, I went for All Weather Bridgestone A005, as I don't need full on Winter tyres in the south East UK, but being higher up we sometimes get a fair bit of ice and some snow, plus no one grits down our estate so that's always fun. Also they were the only ones I could go for in the size and rating I was looking for, so far in the rain they have been great.
Most of my driving on winter tyres covered SW England to North East, and a lot of time between West Mids & Manchester area.
At home (Southwest) a lot of untreated roads around Dartmoor, often early morning or late evening/night.
Of the 4 makes I've used, Nokian WR A3 were by far my favourite, followed closely by Avon Ice Touring ST (used on an old MB C220 CDI and a CLS 320, respectively).
Ironically (or perhaps not), I was least convinced (relatively speaking) by the Dunlop WinterSport 3D... but to be fair, they were dealing with a C63!
The Nokian dealt well with heavy falling & settling snow, a steep, untreated road down to my brother's house in Durham (that saw 2 Audi Q3s lose it, sliding gracefully down the hill and shattering alloys on curbs as they came to a halt). They also proved reliable in the wet, and completely unobtrusive when warmer weather returned! Ran quietly too.
If I can afford it, I'd go Nokian again, although the Bridgestone A005 is looking very useful.

I'm on those too, super grippy, not noisy, really good on snow, these tyres make me happy.
ET 40 ? And is it 8x 18 or 7.5 x 18? Looks very wide but they fit in the wheel case I think?
Good question, I've posted it before, but nobody answered...
People seem to have more courage to put tuning-boxes to their cars rather than at least to try disable TPMS
I guess you need to connect service-computer and go across all functions and just to "uncheck" this particular function (I've done this in MY'16 Forester and since then have no problems switching between different sets of wheels - in Subaru you can only connect 4 sensors and each season you have to pay for connecting different set of wheels, makes no sense at all)
