Sorry if this is a dumb question. But can you run this on a completely stock car without a tune? I saw that a CAI doesn't void the warranty but wondering if this effects airflow enough on stock everything to make a meaningful difference on a stock N?

Certainly can and I won't know till it's installed but it's a good bet, it will reduce IAT's and allow a more direct flow to the intake. Think Ram Air!!:cool:

Even if it doesn't make an appreciable difference, it still looks trick as all get out.;):)

I'll do it!

Progress is being a bit stifled. I'm in the process of getting my wife's windshield replace right now. Rock damage and the second one in less than 6 months of ownership........ouch! $738.00 :oops::(However, when the wife's happy, everything is good.:)

If anyone is interested;

WellVisor now has window visors for the 2019 Veloster. I bought a set for $63.00. Hyundai Accessories has none.

I know it's not a performance adder but I can't stand the constant buffeting with the windows down. It's a constant reverberation in the ears and gets old afterwhile.:)

Love the look of the wide body but couldn’t ever imagine drilling holes in my baby. And also love the carbon splitter but I would cry the first time it scrapes on something. I’ll most likely end up going with the lower price aeroblitz

Aeroblitz Racing;

Be conscience of this owner's attitude and lack of customer service towards prospective customers.

A friend of mine, VN owner and I had a little conversation about the owner. They deal strictly thru eBay. Owner has "Make Offer" on his advertisements. When my friend made an offer of $150 it was countered with a counter offer of $175. He made another smaller offer of $170 to test the waters. The owner of Aeroblitz Racing didn't bother to re counter or offer his original counter offer of $175.

As I understand after reading his email responses to my friend, he was offended by the $170 offer. After some going back and forth in emails to one another, the owner of Aeroblitz withdrew his counter offer of $175 completely. My friend, told Aeroblitz owner, "if anyone asked him about the transaction, he would simply recant the emails he was sent and tell the truth of the non-transaction." The way my friend was treated, I'll be looking elsewhere for my splitter and aero requirements as well. Well here the truth of the issue Aeroblitz made.^ Pretty poor, considering this is how Aeroblitz makes its money.

After reading the emails from both my friend and Aeroblitz owner, I can clearly see where the owner of Aeroblitz went out of his way to dissuade my friend from purchasing from Aeroblitz. The owner at one point, even told him to go elsewhere to buy a splitter. The emails clearly showed Aeroblitz owners, poor customer service, attitude and negativism towards prospective customers. He even blocked my friend from purchasing after the fact on eBay.

Be very careful if you decide to make an offer or buy from the vendor and his attitude towards prospective customers. If anyone is interested, I have the complete exchange of emails, so you can read for yourself.

As the old saying goes; "Caveat Emptor." With this^ being said, I'd personally look elsewhere for my splitter and aero needs. Yes and there are other suppliers ready to accept your money and send you their products. The Aeroblitz owner sells from his personal emotions and vanity, not to promote good customer service.

Update; Seller takes an inordinate amount of time for delivery. Nearly a full month and still hasn't received them. Doesn't have them in stock but has them manufactured per order after advertising they are in stock.

Yes, you certainly have to be conscience of the front end.

The only thing that irks me is non of the splitters come pre drilled or come with hardware. So on top of the splitter cost you’ll have to spend X amount of dollars buying the bolts and spend the extra time lining everything up and drilling holes.

They don't want the liability! If they predrill holes and it ends up mounting wrong, they'd have to eat the product on return. :eek::) Not to mentions pissing off the customer as well.

Bolts, washers and nuts I agree but you have to consider cost as well.;)

Very true, but they should all mount up to the same positions I would assume. Or through R&D find the best locations for mounting and include a list of needed fasteners. But I guess I’m just asking for too much lol.

Ordered some heat barrier shielding for the; intake tube, fuel injector covers, oil filter, turbo, and starter, for starters;):p
