, good point - but I am interested in hearing the results when you manage to source a turbo

.
I just found that the updated turbo for the i20n comes in three versions. Data from the website are saying that the first stage turbo upgrade, does not need ecu modification while stage 2 and three need to be modified. "
Required conversions
When converting to Stage turbochargers, customization of the software is recommended, and even required for Stage 2 and above. To achieve the maximum power, which the turbocharger provides, we recommend depending on the vehicle and engine a larger Downpipe, possibly also entire exhaust system, a larger intercooler and a modified intake. Recommended for most engines is also to strengthen the engine."
In reality the only parameter you have to make sure its perfect for safety reasons, is the correct af/r, so as not to make the fuel too lean, and skyrocket the temps of the engine. So for stage 2 (280-290 hp) i strongly believe that the combo with the Dtuk box (which runs on the rich side) has many possibilities to work nicely.
Last but not least, they suggest a larger downpipe with an entire exhaust system, so as to lower the EGT temps, and not restrict the power figures.
