Same hereA colleague yesterday at work was pretty interested in finding out how loud this sub is and what the vibrations are like inside and outside the car, because he wants to put one in his as well. He gave me his USB stick and we played a couple of heavy bass songs after work..
As we were talking outside the car for a few seconds I realised that this thing is really good isolated. Outside the sound and the vibrations from inside are almost non existent, and really really quiet even when in the car the volume is at club levels!! This quite surprised me to be honest, didn't expect it at all.
The loudest vibrations, come from the spoiler, and the taillights. When I press them down with my hand, even slightly, they stop.
An i30 non N with much crome?
Yeah seen them! They look really good!AEZ rims?
Look just like my winter tires.
Yeah seen them! They look really good!
I think though I'll go for the high gloss ones, I really really like them:
That's just one more reason to spend more time by the car and admire those 19's!Yes they looks nice but cleaning and polishingI think I’d start to hate them!
So, I had some spare time today, and I filmed a short drive for all those interested in watching. This is more focused on sound, and I tried my best to mount the 10 dallarz action camera somewhere so that the cluster remains visible, so, apologies for the weird angle. The road was a bit damp and I had to be a bit cautious but N sticks on the road like gum does on hair. I realised after watching it that it looks really slow on camera... and in reality it is. Very, very slow. Don't pay attention to the speedometer, it lies.
4000 km so far, and I still get really excited every time I go out in it.. Sounds great, drives great, worth every damn penny.
The video is uncut, 14 mins of driving through some foresty scenery.
PS: Don't judge my poor filming and non-existent driving skills, guilty as charged.
Thanks, that was a good watch. Jealous of your roads. At the risk of enraging @N-Raged (so sorry, buddy) I note that yours does not fail to pop and crackle on every single up and down shift between 4 and 5k rpm. Has it always been that way or has it just got better with increased mileage? So, I had some spare time today, and I filmed a short drive for all those interested in watching.
