To protect the scratch- and touch sensitive Touchscreen, I ordered this one on Amazon:

Thats how it looks stock. If you touch it, you often mark your fingerprints on the screen.

Recieved this one yesterday. Package containis all required tools.

Yes, it looks scratched but it isn't. First you have to clean the screen with the included "Alcohol Prep. Pad" to remove any dust and fingerprint marks. (I used some kind of Duster before) Be careful if you use the "Dust removal stickers", they really wanna stick where placed.

After cleaning you should fit that "plastic suck" on the front of your protective glass. Remove the Protective film and carefully put the glass on your screen. It is important to thoroughly clean it, also the dust on surrounding parts.

This is how it looks with protective glass. It feels much better, it's more resistant against fingerprints and scratches and it seems to be easier to clean.

Looks a useful product.... Practical and easy to apply will give it ago.

Got mine and installed. I think it's actually better. Finger seems to slide across it easier and there's no difference in tapping strength required.
There is one corner on mine where about 3mm doesn't seem to want to stay stuck. Nothing underneath, cleaned well and to be honest, you can't really notice unless you know it's there.
The problem is I KNOW IT'S THERE.....

It's very similar to the glass screen protectors available for mobile phones. It will come off but will lesson it's ability to adhere again.
It's slightly smaller than the Infotainment screen so you have some room to manoeuvre. I used a strip of 1mm thick plastic set inside the frame along the bottom edge to position the bottom of the glass on... and judged by eye a gap 1mm on on the left side. I also found it easier to mount the suction cap on the end of a short length of hard plastic tube to position it for ease of holding.
Took me about an hour to do mine but could do another in 10mins... now i know the way to go about it.
Just think positively and not negatively and it will go well.

Just installed mine! it feels really smooth! good buy, but i noticed 1 medium air bubble in the screen protecter and a few little ones... i looked up how to remove them and they all say with a credit card and push them to the side. going to do that in a bit but anyone else knows a different maybe better way to remove them? thanks!

You have to either push the air out, or pull the protector off and start again. The best way is to slowly roll the protector onto the screen, and push it down with a piece of card, while you roll it on slowly, so no air bubbles have a chance to get stuck.

If I get an air bubble stuck, I peel it back off to the bubble, and start again with the rolling.

This would be hard to do. This is a non foldable 9h hardglass Cover..

@Colle i dont know if I would try to remove that and fit that again. Maybe it was a bit of dust. What ive done while installing : the side where the glass meets the screen, always have to look down. So no dust could go there. You have to be fast. Even in a new car with comfort (leather) seats is a lot of dust..

Well it is not very noticeble so i might leave it be, maybe i can remove the glass and re install it... bur first i am going to try guide the air bubble to the side
