Kamyk's i30N PB Performance Pack

I ordered the whole set:

For now I need only two sizes - 22mm and 33mm springs but they are really expensive in parts with shipping from Australia so I ordered this box in case of future needs.

I had some free time today for the car so I covered whole air intake pipe with new heat tape.
After it I did a test drive for about 17km to check it will not come off.
Everything is in place and superb cold in touch.

Found another small problem:

Sensors from downpipe slightly rubbed and mounted thermal cover there is loose so I ordered this:oslona.jpg
After new heat shield arrive I will cover the hole from left side, tighten old shield and connect them around the downpipe.
I checked today some more Lufi XF gauge - looks good but it can't see oil temperature from obd.
I configured it like this for now:4.jpg

Today I added some pipes covers to avoid rubbing and protect the car from my old friend marten who visited me few months ago. For now no problems but I protected few rubber pipes just in case of his visit in the winter to warm up a bit 😄
Ten small parts added - last time marten tried to eat hose marked with no.10.

After yesterday bad day and scratch rear doors in my car I received another gadget.

and here is my bad day.....

Car went for door painting and I will need to wrap the doors again with black carbon and small red stripe in the beginning of the next year and put some ceramic cover on them.

Great build! Congrats👍

I was just wondering - is it hard to go through the annual tech inspection in PL? Any issues?
I wanted to start modding my i30n, but I'm quite hesitant that after mods it won't pass the test/inspection.

For now I have everything on warranty even with the mods.
I have agreement with my dealer to do it - I'm installing every new parts in their service.
About inspections - I will know it after end of 2021.

New useful gadgets arrived:

I will take off the old heat cover from the intake and cut it for the boost pipe and those new will go to the intake.
This time without using tape - the biggest DEI heat shield is too small in diameter thats why I will connect it with smaller one to cover the whole intake pipe and still was easy to dissasemble if necessary.
Now only waiting for forge parts.

Hmmmm.... So ?
I have their intercooler for a long time without any problems.
Now two new simply parts - not a big, advanced in build intercooler for supra.

Stuff happens in new design & construction don’t care who manufactures it. What’s not being taken in account is; how it was mounted / installed or in what extreme temps was it utilized.

A bit of common sense understanding and review is needed with the video. Plus it’s not in English. So no one knows what is being discussed formally.🤔. I understand what’s being said but that doesn’t help anyone else.

Plus Forge Motorsport has a life time warranty attached to everyone of their products and as @kamyk155 said, so this is for the new Supra not the i30N. So there is no direct correlation.👍

Of course now that they’ve cut into it, there is no warranty. Not to smart. Best to leave well enough alone when dealing with a warranty and a new product.😉

👎Plus, this is a first post from a disgruntled Supra who doesn’t even own an i30N. Who has intentions of bashing Forge Motorsport, then allowing in them to solve the issue and dealing with them up front. 👎

I really don't understand why we are talking about forge problems with supra ?
I know ONLY ONE problem with forge products here in the forum if we talk about our cars - i30n - exactly this dual can from my picture above. It was bad fittment for one of the connectors but only in few cars. It was due to some engine mount displacement.
Normal people if had a problem with ordered product will do two or three things:
- ask company what is wrong with it (reporting a problem)
- ask for new product or working one (corrected or improved)
- send it back and buy similar product in other company

Back to my thread - If you know me and follow my thread you can read and know this is my second try to buy those products from forge - first time was problematic - problems with that fittment and another problem with contact with forge using mail.
After a time forge improved their can with additional bend pipe for the connector and that is why I ordered it again.

You guys can be sure - if something will be wrong with those two parts from forge I will put some informations here on the forum. If everything will be working - I will post info about it too.

Story with my dual can from forge few months ago:
- product ordered
- rumors on the forum about fitment problem
- asked forge about problem (sent them pictures of my engine and links to the forum with problem explained)
- forge confirmed problem and need time to solve it
- order canceled and cash refunded

It was so simple.
Now I will see those improved one...
