Kamyk's i30N PB Performance Pack

It had to be 2020.....
First - coronavirus party all over the world weird working and living, then car problem with gearbox and then I had coronavirus too..... Almost month at home without the car, problems with ordering the spare parts for the gearbox and some problems at work until today. I have enough of work, car problems and other weird situations even thinking about retirement.
I'm totally tired.
Hold in there, we will return to a new normal when a vaccine is available.

@kamyKk155 take some time and rest your brain. Meditation does wonders but not the new wave crap. Physiological Mind and body meditation, make it a daily or at least three times a week habit. By yourself, in a quiet place without interruptions fo at least on hour each time it undertakes. It will allow you to refresh and relax.

Do it now, a vaccine isn't going to calm your mind or soul. This is about you for you.:)

IT IS BAD 2020 !!!
First of all - hyundai central sent information to my dealer - this damege is due to user and they won't repair the car on warranty !!! They have somekind of "black box" in the gearbox and they have information that I damaged the gearbox by reducing the gears, rpm-s were critical 8200 (8k is max on tacho), speed was 67km/h and something happend to the gearbox......
My god - HOW I did it ? How to break rpm-s rotation limiter ? There is safety rpm-s cut off. On street and all dynos you can go max 6,8-7,1k rpm-s with hot engine.....
So I lost warranty on gearbox.....
Now I need to buy gearbox or repair this one on my cost.
Now looking for used gearbox. New gearbox is about 7900$ but I found few used for about 750$.
Year 2020.......my god 2020....... what will be next ? Earthquake directly under my car ?

The only way to do that I guess is mis-shifting into 1st gear instead of 3rd at that speed. Surprised you don't have valve damage then...
Sorry to hear that, mate. On the bright side - Poland is probably the best country to get used parts like this - low prices and good availability...

I had few problem before with gears buy mostly with 1st to 2nd gear change. Only once I did 2nd to 1st by accident and it looks like it was then.
Now the only hope is used gearbox. I have some agreement with my dealer - they will install used gearbox to my car and my damaged one will be for my spare parts in the future. All the parts ordered by my dealer I need to return or pay for them - return is the only option for me. I also return the whole clutch set...

An earthquake under your car might be a blessing in disguise, mother earth swallowing the whole car up would surely get you a new car through insurance😂😉

That's correct about the black box and they have direct access to it with the GDS. What happened going from 2nd to 1st buy accident, caused the revlimiter to be overwhelmed manually. It can very easily be done. There have been two such VN that blew the motors. One was recorded here on the forum but he got Hyundai to replace the engine.🤔

What you need to do is; swallow the cost and put a new gearbox into the car. This way the warranty will again be in place. I know it sucks but sometimes stuff just happens. I know it sounds like a overwhelming problem but if you plan to keep the car, this is the best plan..:)

End of nightmare.
I have my car back with fully working gear box after swap.
Now I have to ride some. Today my blue hornet had some washing and vacuuming.
2nd November is dyno ecu calibration time with lowering torque and week or two after that - mounting three ordered forge parts.
It was a good day today :)

Still waiting for Forge parts - almost one month with no answer at all.
My car is today on ECU calibration to lower some torque and make it more stable after previous whole exhaust change... and I bought this small toy.

I have set of brand new HEL lines in my garage - why you did not ask from me?

Today I had some infos from guy who is calibrating mu ECU.
I called him today to ask about torque and told him about my whole new exhaust and my previous problem with turbo cut off on highway.

Here is the full story:
1- first OEM dyno - 255hp 392nm - VTECH dyno
2- first ECU tune -286hp and 514nm - VTECH dyno
3- other dyno check after tune - 293bhp 450nm - MAHA dyno
4- gpf delete and remus exhaust - 310bhp 475nm - MAHA dyno
5- new downpipe - 320bhp 477nm - MAHA dyno

Today info - car on VTECH dyno was 288hp and today after ecu calibration is 289hp but torque was 483nm and will be about 440-450nm. So the whole exhaust on VTECH is + 2/3hp but on MAHA is + 28hp.
Most weird thing - why there is such a big difference in power ? 320bhp is 325hp on MAHA but 289hp on VTECH ?
It is only dyno measure difference ?
Today I will receive scores after dyno on paper and will post it here.
After that I will check this again on HAMA dyno to see differences.
PS. I don't care too much about power/torque - my target was 300/450 but after whole intake/exhaust change it was even too high and I needed to correct it after turbo cut off and to save the oem clutch.

Is the latest dyno measuring power at the crank or power at the wheels?

Yes. Stop changing dynos or you'll do your head in.

my target was 300/450 but after whole intake/exhaust change it was even too high and I needed to correct it after turbo cut off and to save the oem clutch.
Stop worrying about the numbers, focus on the drivability (to suit your purpose), keep the torque under 500 or upgrade the clutch.

Ok - here is my new toy:

And here is my modified ecu dyno score:
dyno.jpg
In this dyno point - was 290hp and 488nm and now is 290hp and 437nm.
I will check it later on MAHA dyno too to see differences.

what the hell is happening at 3800 rpm?
Does not look like a clean map to me...

Green line - how it was. Two big hops on torque.
Red line - it is now.
And it is VTECH dyno. All previous with flat lines were MAHA dyno.
I will check it like I wrote - this thursday on MAHA.
