Kamyk's i30N PB Performance Pack

Glad to see you invest in one. It's needed once you start boosting turbo pressure. :)
It is the week 2 mod that i did. Stock or modded car... It is essential. On higher boosted cars though you need a not much baffled catch can

I don't necessarily agree with you that a stock boosted GDI engine is essential. However, when you start to boost beyond stock levels, you get more blowby at the rings. More blowby means, more fuel dilution in the crankcase. Fuel diluted oil needs to be changed more often and causes more coking on the valves, requiring more frequent valve cleaning, to maintain efficient power delivery.:) 👍

Here are pictures of the oil catch can.
As I wrote before this is version for Veloster N moutnted in my i30n with some small problems.
Metal mounting part for this catch can is blocking the bonnet support.
Another less important thing is - pipes can rub the engine parts.

time for bonnet lifters then, heh? 😆

Something is wrong with those pipes.....on all pictures from add w1 and youtube videos they are inversely ?
Looking when engine is up when the bonnet is open - thinner up thicker down....or somethis is wrong with me ?
I think they connected them wrong in my case ?
They should be like this....

Is this a good connections for this oil catch can ?

I have a problem with understanding one of the descriptions for this oil catch can:
1 - on the oil catch can I can see looking straight onto two holes for pipes inlet from left side and outlet form right side
2 - on paper manual of installation I can see inlet from right side and outlet from left side
3 - on the next paper with description and cross-section of the product inlet is from left side and outlet from right side again
So......I don't know what to think.

2 - on paper manual of installation I can see inlet from right side and outlet from left side

inlet (to catch can) is the pcv - the small one.
Outlet (of the catch can) is the intake
So you connected them the wrong way

I see on pictures the inlet to be the left, so you got them correct (your 2nd picture)

I just received answer for my mail from add w1.
I send them my photo from post no. 366 and they told me it is ok.
Their photos in paper manual installation are wrong.

After long time with my problems with weird noise form under the hood - today hyundai received last parts of new clutch.
I left them my car today for the whole clutch change.
I took some pictures of the OEM clutch disc - it looks really cheap and I think it was mistake to buy another oem one.
I will take old clutch disc and will try to cover it with kevler - if not - next new clutch will not be oem.
Here are pictures:

Correct me if I’m wrong, weren’t you going with an aftermarket clutch? If they’ve got it apart for a new clutch plate, you may as well go aftermarket. :)

Nope - I had still oem clutch and now - new oem again.
We talked about aftermarket clutch few months ago but it was after my dyno test with high torque.
Now it is too late for aftermarket so after mounting new oem clutch (the whole set) I need to lower my torque to lets say 440-450 because last test was 477nm.

Another crazy bad day.
New clutch set installed and.........still bad noise from under the hood.
Totally no change. Car still in service but they told me again - they have no idea what is going on.
I'm devastated and angry.

Still waiting for the car.....so I did some shopping to improve my bad mood.
Car is standing in the workshop so I bought three Forge parts:
I will try to mount them in the same time as my repair and before my annual inspection at the end of the month.

Typical bad info again.
My parts from forge shop are delayed to four weeks of waiting.....

we had a similar experience when ordering our catch tanks from Forge. It's normal as they utilize a separate supplier for the black coating and that takes time. This in combination with the amount of orders they are getting, a few weeks of delay are sadly normal

It had to be 2020.....
First - coronavirus party all over the world weird working and living, then car problem with gearbox and then I had coronavirus too..... Almost month at home without the car, problems with ordering the spare parts for the gearbox and some problems at work until today. I have enough of work, car problems and other weird situations even thinking about retirement.
I'm totally tired.
