i30 N 2021 i30 N

Probably is already talked about it, but how are the speakers in the facelift?
Have more clarity and bass than before?
I heard the car has more soundproofing 😃

i can't tell you how its compared to the prefacelift BUT the bass is very nice on +6/7 :D
And sound overall is good, but it depends on the song/source. Android Auto/Apple CarPlay sounds best imo

Hey Doomers got a premium dct in dark knight i wanted the shadow grey but didnt want to wait till the next allocation. i was going to go for the manual but i live in the city so went for the auto box.
Ha! I got the Premium DCT in Shadow Grey. Cannot deal with manual in the city. Plus I’m too old for that nowadays 😆

Some launch! I have just enquired about a new i30N and have been told that they are on back order with a 3-6 months wait.
So the cheap finance offer won't be any good to me as the only car they could get now was a black auto with N seats ( I want Polar white) will wait and see what happens over the coming months. I suppose on a positive note by not being an early adopter any teething problems will hopefully have been found by others ;)

I thought exactly the same thing as you about the teething problems. I'm not too keen on having one of the first batch of cars, from experience there's generally little things that are changed and tweaked after 6 months or so of production.

Hi All 👋 First Post on this forum but I've been lurking for the best part of a year now joining in on the excitement of the FL i30n. Decided to place my order for a manual Shadow Grey with the N Light Seats on the 20th of June. I asked my dealer for a rough delivery window and he told me it would be around October/November time (I'm based in the UK). However I was also told that Hyundai sometimes hide their stock from dealers so the cars don't get snatched up straight away, so it could be sooner than this. Personally I'm hoping for the latter 😀

Facelift models are tweaks on the existing car?

If you use that logic you'd never buy anything

DCT is more than a tweak. Also new centre console with different safety features. Remember issues with camera and alarm on first version and no winter pack.

camera worked flawless so far for me in the DCT, night, rain, day, heavy sunshine

just "found out" that i have an "active lane keeping assistant button". :D (thought the passive one is already the "active" one :p) its very nice especially on autobahn ;) and autonomous brakeassistant had to do something once as well (behind a motorcycle). (the prefacelift often had the problems with "brakeassistant turned off"-information, so far in 1200km didnt happen to me :)

DCT already in use is it not across the brand?

Alarm has been fixed years ago

I was up close and personal with a i30N DCT with N Light seats in white today. The wheels set it off perfectly, the new larger screen is responsive to use, the seats are so comfortable (but manual) and exhaust tips look huge in the flesh. The sound coming out of them on a cold start....

Finally received an update from my n-pusher regarding a delivery date, they contacted HMCA and they said delivery is still expected by the end of the month (yes, what month), so about the 4/7 (regional Victoria).

And only one outstanding, and rather important discussion, final cost!

Late this month in metro Melbourne, I presume? So potentially as soon as early next week for me? That's incredibly soon... Still doesn't feel real. :p

Well, I suppose it will be all the same delivery timings. Travel time from Melbourne to my "secret" location in Victoria is about 3 hours +/- an hour.

I'm hoping to receive a call from the dealer on the day the vehicle arrives, so I can see it be off loaded from the truck like a real N-Thuisiast!

I've been offered to drive the car on arrival and fill it up with fuel, but thought the sales guy may like to experience the glory of the DCT!

As promised, here are a few more photos and some first impressions.

First of all I have to mention that this is the first sport cart I'm driving/owning so I can barely compare with anything else.
The car is a beast, I love it so much, it's darn fast and the DCT seems about right. I got it yesterday noon time and drove ~100km until midnight on city roads.

I wasn't the most docile for the first day, therefore my fuel consumption were around 22-24l/100km.

The N Light seats are amazingly comfortable and good although I'm a fat guy (1.76cm with 110kg). I have some problems with the Apple CarPlay as the resolution on Waze is terribly wrong but hopefully will get fixed soon. Also I hate that I can't make the Apple CarPlay on full screen, that's a shame.

Now let's talk a bit about exhaust, it's incredible. Although the car has OPF it sounds incredibly good and definitely with more bass than the pre-facelift. On N Mode it farts at ~3.000 and at ~5.500-6.000 without too much hesitation. The only thing I'd love to have is the option to make it silent, yes you can put the car on Normal/ECO and it won't be that loud but still enough to make some neighbors going nuts in time, especially when I'm getting home at night :D.

I'm open to questions guys.
