Some launch! I have just enquired about a new i30N and have been told that they are on back order with a 3-6 months wait.
So the cheap finance offer won't be any good to me as the only car they could get now was a black auto with N seats ( I want Polar white) will wait and see what happens over the coming months. I suppose on a positive note by not being an early adopter any teething problems will hopefully have been found by others

I was in ordering a Performance Blue last week and a white DCT, with N seats just rolled off the transporter whilst I was there. Give Richmond Hyundai in Portsmouth a call mate, they offered it to me there and then, but I want same spec but in blue...

Has anybody had a confirmation from your respective dealer on a confirmed delivery date for the FL i30N?
I have been trying to nail my n-pusher down but they appear to be MIA... I might have to employ other tactics, say, paying my entire deposit right NOW!!!!

Mine is saying delivery by the 4th of July, or possibly sooner. I also know someone who's been told the 1st of July by another Melbourne dealership. These last couple of weeks are definitely a struggle LOL.
Yeah, mine’s gone underground too. Not helped by the fact that my first guy has now left the dealership. Pissing me off. Even if they don’t know anything, I’d like a response saying so. I genuinely think Hyundai Australia needs to develop special training to handle the influx of enthusiast customers.
With the i20 N, Kona N, and Sedan N all on their way this year, these old-fashioned dealerships won't know what hit them.
Most of them simply don't understand how much we appreciate even the smallest details and updates. They're not just selling cheap Excels anymore.
Exactly! Don’t make cool cars and follow it up with poor sales processes. They sucked me in several months ago with the buzz of the early articles, videos and asking me for a grand of my cash for a car with unknown pricing. Now they can’t give us definite release dates.
Still makes me laugh about the contract they gave me to sign when I paid my deposit. I work in the legal area. Most pointless doc I’ve ever signed. Basically just put me on the list of potential buyers. Anyone else sign a contract for the old manual model, with the only update being in the comments box?

Your guys clearly knew a bit more about it. Also, depends on the timing of when you placed your order, I suppose.
In other news, a friend of mine who bought a Mini that also arrived on Friday (prob on same ship) is getting hers from the dealership tomorrow. Don’t get me wrong, there’s prob less people getting new Minis, but it’s still happening a lot quicker than Hyundai are getting their backsides (nice words on this forum, just in case
) in gear 
Finally got a callback from the dealer. They’re pushing for $57k, it seems. I didn’t query it at the time, as I’d rather do that face to face when we’re doing the deal.
Paraphrasing them now: ‘they’re moving through the process, with the cars being logged by Hyundai Aus. First cars are expected imminently and yours will hopefully be ready by the end of the month.’
So, I expect I’ll be giving them an extra week, and I’ll get it early July

Hey Doomers got a premium dct in dark knight i wanted the shadow grey but didnt want to wait till the next allocation. i was going to go for the manual but i live in the city so went for the auto box.
Mine as well. Hadn't seen a NCR (no carbon required - for the age challenged) book for years!
