I know, i saw it to in the manual and i show it to to the salesman in two different hyundai garage. Maybe it need some more time, til this will be popular on the hyunday garage.@Pollak it's official from Hyundai, 18" is the recommended winter size, who does not know and what?
i will write a email to hyundai.ch and ask if they know something else

I think I will buy 18" MAK Wolf Black Mirror 7.5Jx18 5x114.3 ET48 67.1 and Nokian WR D4 for the winter.
When I recive the car I will take this set to my dealer for change. Original 19" and Pirelli I intend to sell and don't even try them.
With the car I ordered TPMS sensors for this winter set. When I sell the pirellis and 19" i will buy some 18" summer tires or tires plus alloys as second complete set.
I am so afraid of my high curb because I need to jump on it to park in front of my home (about 8-10centimeters) and few high slow downs on my roads to work - the only thing I can do is to use 18" and try to be really carefull. Now In my car I have 15" 195/65 and don't even scratch my alloys on this curb but with 18" it will be really big problem.
What do You guys think about MAK wheels ? I'm using now Dezent TC wheels and they are very similar to mak.
My first thought about MAK Wolf was - they look strong for my curbs but with 225/40 tires will be there enough rubber to not scratch them or broke them ?

Don't you want to go for narrower wheels (7.5J)? Not that you'll be having problems anyway.. just saying..This will be my choice for the winter wit some nokians..

The dealer said that's okay with 225/40/r18s._. He also said that the wheels have an ABE for Germany. I'll give it a try and I'll talk to him before ordering. It's summer at the moment, I'll buy them maybe in August..Don't you want to go for narrower wheels (7.5J)? Not that you'll be having problems anyway.. just saying..
I have currently MAK rims, can't say I have any comment to make about them apart from that the center cap has got no UV protection and fades over time...
