No such option here in OZ . Could always take a N line premium (that has the stereo upgrade) for a 24hr test drive and swap speakers :D:D

It would appear Hyundai leave the upgrading of stereos to the aftermarket here in AUS.
Not too worried really. I will say the audio output is a little anaemic from the sound system unlike the exhaust system which makes up for it.:)

I've read some threads here but I'm still not clear as to whether the my car (i30N performance) has a factory fitted amp. Is there one and is it located behind the head unit? I've bought an Alpine SWE-815 powered subwoofer for installation in the boot and the audio installer is asking me these questions.

Thanks,
Jon.

The tweeters seem to be where the electric seat memory controls are. The text also described a pair of front speakers with 2 components.

Hi,

I already noticed during the test drive that the sound system in the i30N is not really good.
The seller told me that buying the Hyundai Soundupgrade is not worth it.

So I thought about installing a PlugNPlay amplifier and a subwoofer in the spare wheel well.
Does anyone have experience with the amplifiers from Audiotec Fischer in the i30N?

for example:
Helix Match PP 41DSP
Helix Match PP 52DSP

Is that worth it?
How complicated is the installation?

Hi Guys!

Did anybody tried the DE Hyundai's Siund Upgrade packet with the Pioneer D" cat. amplifier and the Pioneer Speakers?
Is there any tested configs with under dash D" cat plug&play amplifier? Speakers?
My problem is i listen the music at volume 30-40 and very noisy in this volume. And i don't want to install normal amplifier because Hyundai is not accept this install in my country in warranty.
Thx the answers!

Hi Guys,

Has anyone tried these or aware of the quality of the product and is willing to advise me on the quality of the product?

https://www.amazon.co.uk/JBL-2-Way-Coaxial-Audio-Speakers/dp/B00881CRRM

I'm wanting to upgrade the sound system, bit by bit, starting with the Front door speakers.

Also, please forgive me but I'm a complete newbie to car electrics and audio systems. In terms of wiring these in, am I okay to just assume these will work off of the current + / - wires already in place? Or will I need to add in a converter or anything of the like?

Thanks guys

Now, my soundupgrade is completed.

I have installed a 4 way Amplifier Helix Match PP 41DSP for the OEM speaker in the doors in combination with a Amplifier Helix Match PP 1 sub and a spare wheel well Subwoofer Match PP 7S-D.

It sounds great, unbelievable what u can get out of the original speakers.

Any pics of the installation? I am mostly interested on how you got your power cable from the battery into the cabin

Sorry, i don't have any pictures from the installation but here you can see what you have to do.

The Match PP 41DSP is a plug n play Amplifier and use the 12v line from the headunit.
So I don't have to get the cable from the engine bay to the trunk.

do you have an N or an N-line? The procedure shown does not work when you've got an N. The spot he routed the cable through is where the turbo is located - no way that'll work

I have a N Performance, but i don't have to get into the engine bay.
But i think it will be possible, when you try the way with the bonnet cable.
