Kamyk's i30N PB Performance Pack

............"Because I spent too much money for intake, turbo inlet and transparent box cover it will be better to cut the box."...........

Ok - dyno day over - score is a little bit better - still hot outside.
Fuel used - ron 100.
1.jpg2.jpg3.jpg

About 385HP and 500nm is really ok. Not magical 400HP but really close. Maybe in the winter I will check it just for fun.

On the first picture - red line is power and orange torque.
On the second picture you can see someking of blue stairs - it is intake temp raising fast.
On the third picture - violet line - turbo pressure - about 1,6 bar.

Car feels ok - TarmoT tuner told me that everything is ok and he is surprised of quite good scores.
This is newer MAHA dyno so the torque is like Markus said his 470Nm and +6/7% so here it is 500Nm+.

The highest quality tune from Markus as always.

After long trip it is time to first filters cleaning - k&n air filter and k&n cabin filter.
Still looking for cabin filter cleaning kit - I saw them only in UK, US and AU.

And towing hook problem:
8.jpg9.jpg10.jpg

Problem is that this towing hook is in 3 parts and all have right hand thread. So.....
Main bolt is screwed into car, then small connector is screwed to the main bolt and hook is screwed to small connector.
If you try to thight them all together you will screw really hard main bolt to the car.
And then you are f........up because main bolt will stay inside and you can only unscrew connector and hook.
I tried with few tools to remove it from inside the car without taking off the whole bumper of the car.
I removed it after half hour of fight......

How about this? Put the main bolt in a vise. Then screw in the connector and the hook using red Loctite and tighten it all up - that sh*t is damn near permanent so you're pretty much looking at a one-piece unit after that. Then you can screw and unscrew the whole box and dice into and out of the bumper at your leisure.

I think this solution is only possible in the car with main bolt already screwed to the car.
Why - becuse connector screw is longer than holes in bolt and hook even with those two nuts.
The hook need to be leveled too.
So - I can screw in the main bolt, use loctite and screw main connector to it to the max and then another try with loctite and hook from other side.
I need to think what to do with it. For now I took the hook off the car.

Today I had some time and I glued main bolt of the hook with connector with Liqui Moly 3803 strong.
I bought three car cargo bags and took out the big tool box off my trunk.
My tool box was just too big - now it is a way better and easier to access to spare wheel place.
Two cargo bags are in the trunk and they fit perfect and third one is between the legs of the rear seats.
It is easy to fit it there because this small bag have velcro mountings under and back of it.

BOV low boost trumpet arrived:

And here is older picture with stock trumpet:

New trumpet is about twice longer and much easier to make noise even on lower rpm-s.
50/50 sounds more like stock one but 100% atmospheric is loud like hell.
