Brakes Bigger brake kit?

Hi, the kit is from a Polish company called Machined Performance. Everything supplied is brand new but I think the callipers are the same Brembo ones fitted to the Renault Megane Sport. The kit consists of Brembo four pot front callipers, grooved front disks, custom adaptor plates, wheels spacers, front and back, braided brake lines, front and back and Brembo brake pads. I think that’s it - you have to provide the brake fluid.
Thanks to your post, I found this company in Poland that makes ''Brembo Kit'' for N-cars. Thanks INWaN. They will make a kit for my Kona N.

I feel I should warn you that the owner of the company that I used has become extremely vague and ’flakey’ - in all good faith I couldn’t recommend doing business with him As he doesn’t respond to messages or phone calls and has, I think, suffered quite a serious breakdown.

Thanks for warning me. We will see what will happen.

Do the regular Brembo brake pads in your kit handle fast street and mountain driving? How do you rate these pads vs oem?

It’s difficult to compare directly because the whole mechanism has been changed - you can’t separate the performance of the pad from the calipers, rotors, lines etc. However, what I can say is that I have zero complaints regarding the braking performance - it’s smooth but effective and feels very OEM. There is no grabbing or squeeling noises etc.

Thanks. If my order goes through, I will have the same Brembo calipers as you and 355mm floating discs from the Renault Megane RS Trophy.

I didn’t personally fit the kit but I wasn’t told it needed any modification and it was all as described and good quality.

Any results?

I take it you’ve not read the rest of the thread? But, yes, I ordered the kit, received the kit, fitted the kit (I didn’t personally fit it) and have been enjoying it since. In the meantime the company (Machined Performance) have gone AWOL and don’t respond to any form of communication. IMG_7518.jpegWhether they are still in business I have no idea.

Apologies, I did read the thread, got lost on the outcome. Thanks.

Hi there, yes my OZ are ET48 and with a 3mm spacer on the front they just clear the calipers. The tyres are pretty much flush with fenders though and the wheels, on their own fit inside the fenders.
Hello, I come here from Spain.
I am going to mount these same calipers but with 345mm i30n discs and I have the same oz 8x18 et48. They move towards the engine by 4mm, so theoretically without the 3mm spacers to mount it should fit without a spacer... do you think it's possible? Without the separators do the calipers touch the wheel? Furthermore, since the discs are larger in diameter (25mm more), the caliper is 12.5mm further outside the discrepancy and the radius space increases a little...can you somehow post a photo where your caliper can be seen in detail in relation to the wheel? Instagram better to talk?? Thanks in advance

Papalina messaged me via Messenger to ask his questions directly. It’s unclear to me how he obtained my Messenger address!
