For any Aussies waiting for an update on the first delivery of the FL i30N, the vessel has arrived into Tianjin, China.
I'm not a betting man, but I would lay odds on that it will head to Korea and Japan prior the making the journey South.
I would suggest it will go to Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, this would work with the current schedule of delivery into Australian ports.
Not long now, just have to continue to do the same as usual, that is, hurry up and wait!

Its interesting that the i30N is still listed as "coming soon" on the website - at what point will Hyundai drop all pretense of "soon" and just say "you might be alive when it turns up"?

The new Tucson was listed as "coming soon" even after it was physically in dealership showrooms.
It didn't get added to the website configurator with pricing until about a week or two later.
Not sure what is going on at Hyundai Australia head office lately.
It could be that due to their significant growth, Hunday are getting too big for their boots. Customer care takes a back seat when people are buying your cars in great numbers.
My local dealer had sold several of the new Tucson's at the recent Field Day's,, but was unable to provide customers pricing for at least a week, waiting on Hyundai to provide the official DA pricing.
I'm going out on a limb and would suggest you can expect the same level of customer communication from Hyundai when the first delivery of FL N's arrive in July!
I can't wait to look at my new car in the dealership and be unable to take it home...
Its the new sales method - get your customers to handover a deposit, but never deliver, only let them see their new car from afar.

I talked to a hand full of Brisbane dealers last week and a few of them quoted the 5th July for the FL delivery date.
Is this possible if the vessel still has to go via Korea/Japan?
Stop torturing yourself and me... I can think of more torturous situation, but to see my car sit in a locked compound waiting to be driven is just too much to contemplate.

Depending on the sea state and other delays, it's about 2-3week trip from Japan to Melbourne. So, early July in Brisbane is plausible.
My German friends have been strangely inactive in this thread since the homologation came out. At the same time, an increase of pops and bangs out in the streets

If people are already taking deliveries of their cars, where are all the reviews and videos? I'm dying from the wait and would love some entertainment over here.
And after the long, long wait for this car to arrive, sitting in the show room with a big red bow on it...
In Poland yesterday all the papers where sent to dealers. They should arrive today and the registration process should begin
