i30 N 2021 i30 N

Woah! An increase for the manual of almost £4,000 compared to the pre-facelift!

Also, the only colours mentioned as optional extras are Polar White, PB and Shadow Grey. Anyone know if other colours will be available in the UK too?

You can order from some dealers, but you can't see what you get because most don't have a car on their lot and not price..

Repost from Feb 19:

So the offer that I received is:

List price with transfer and admission 43.530,00 Euro

House price 37.990,00 Euro

That's fully equipped Fastback DCT in Shadow Gray.

Also a bonus information is that the Fastback doesn't come with Assistance Package witch includes Active Blind Spot Assist (BCA) and Cross traffic warning behind with emergency braking function (RCCA)

Don't know the reason why.

And as mentioned before, Navigation Package is included with all DCT models.

Q: Does facelift have blind spot detection?
A: Fastback doesn't have it. In Hatchback, yes, thanks to rear bumper adjustments it got the sensors which are checking the blind spot. Manual gearbox will have the visual warning, automatic gearbox will have active monitoring

This was answered in the video, looks like as there were no changes made to fastback rear bumper, they just didn't bother to add the sensors there 🤔

This totally pisses me off...I am going to get the fastback as well. This car is like a tank, you can't see sh*t throught the rear window or in the blind spots. Compared to the hatchback, the view in the fastback is way worse.
I really don't get it. It's basically the same car, just a different design.

Another thing I don't understand is the missing headup display. This is state of the art these days (compare Kona N).
They just had to put a freaking display on the dashboard.

On the other hand i am still pretty excited about the FL.
Just sad they didn't realize such things.

I was also disappointed but it is what it is. You also pay around 700 eur extra for the fastback and get less features.

But personally I really don't care about those things, I try to be fully aware of my surrounding and not depend on some sensor.

Same mindset here. I really like the look of the Fastback.
I currently drive a 17-year old BMW 116i. I dont have/need those sensors right now, I don't need it in the Fastback.
Can't miss what I don't know, right?

True. I am still driving a VW Golf Mk3 from 1995. Doesn't even have electrical door locks xD.
My youngest car was from 1996, so far, which means I am abaolutely not used to any sensors. Although I am used to a very good all-round view.

The only feature not included that I have used in other vehicles (which I did not own but used) was the Smart Cruise Control. I found it really useful, as I do allot of freeway driving.

Just pissed that it's available (in my part of the world) standard on the i30 N Line (Built in Korea), but not the i30N. Cross traffic assist would be helpful, lane keeping assist, why bother.

But I would settle for my freakin new i30N DCT in my drive way, pleading for me to take on a weekend rip on the many twisty, country roads in my area!
