i30 N 2021 i30 N

Thanks Raul. I look forward to hearing what you think of it. If you are going to be testing it in May it sounds like no prices or specifications will be available until after that. Ordering could start in June and I suspect first UK deliveries will not happen until September/October.

All too late for me. 🙁

In Spain I30N performance (with the buckets and forged wheels) Manual and without the panoramic roof. Cost 36,7k€. (It's like 2k more expensive than before) It should deliver more power...

So much for "N Day". That was 99% Kona N Day. Literally no news on the new i30 N. It's becoming increasingly clear that Hyundai do not care about this car. My interest is evaporating... 😒

What news? As I understood from their N day thing the i30N is already released and the Kona is something you should admire like it's not just a taller i30.

A classic example of marketing style over substance. No info re i30N i.e. price and availability, same for the Kona N. Still no info on UK website.

I'm still trying to remain optimistic that it won't be too long to wait and trying to decide on colour. Polar White is winning as I think it suits the new wheels and red calipers/trim. Sunset Red is a close second as it looks similar to my Cupra that I currently have and I do like the colour of that - Seat Desire Red. Just a shame I'm thoroughly fed up with the DSG gearbox!

Very quick cars on the road those Cupra's! But you certainly want warranty on a VAG product that has DSG. Replacing one outside warranty is no joke cost wise, my god.

Yep Polar white for me (again) assuming i can get one!

Kona N - AWD?
Looking at this youtube video of the Kona N's interior I notived it has a Traction knob with terrain settings on the display.

Doesn't this indicate the Kona N has AWD if there is a Mud/Sand setting?

After a few upset customers left their thoughts on social media regarding the nebulous i30 N DCT launch, Hyundai Australia has FINALLY given us a month. We're making progress! 🤣

What social media format are we talking about, I would like to leave my "thoughts" regarding the absolute cluster fuc* Hyundai have created regarding the poor level of communication to customers. If this is the best the marketing team at Hyundai can provide to future customers, then I would hate to see what happens if you really need information after purchasing a vehicle!

All I can say, thank goodness my local dealer is a client, and I have an excellent working relationship with the entire team.

Not all-wheel drive, just an extra setting for the e-LSD (and possibly the dampers) to make it possible to leave the paved roads (Not saying "going off-road).
That would be something similar as Peugeot offers on their xoox range.

I think is simply Marketing strategies, they want a bit of space with the launch of the I20n hype, and then the konaN hype and then to promote more the N brand again with the best: I30N 😄

Think I'll contact their UK team and see if they are able to give us the date for the UK i30N availability.

These people were named on N day as responsible for PR if anyone else wants to have a try:

Head of PR
natasha.waddington@hyundai.co.uk

Product PR Manager
robin.hayles@hyundai.co.uk

Emails might give them an idea of the increasing UK frustration on here!
Every current and prospective UK owner should jump on this and email them both - fill up their inbox I say!
