Any Aussies here that can give me some help?

The ineptitude of my dealer knows no bounds. I have a White Premium Manual FL on order due to arrive July/August after this recent delay. The whole time I've been under the impression that the Premium comes with the new N-light seats. My dealer literally has no clue what they are and can't tell me what my car has on it. He went as far as saying the light up logo is just "photography" and they're the same seats as prior to 21 model year.

Has anyone on here got a premium on order and knows that they're coming with the N-light seats?

Yes, both the manual Premium and DCT Premium 100% come with the N Light seats. They are manually adjustable but heated.

The only difference between the manual Premium and DCT Premium trims is that the latter comes with a sunroof. :)

Thank goodness. My dealer replying saying that the premium comes with heated and electronically adjustable seats really threw me off.

Cheers

Are you able to check the ships itinerary (my understanding is that there are a few sites that allow this) and see if it also docks in Fremantle and if so, whether it is before or after the east coast.
I have been unable to find an internary (not from lack of trying I may add). If do locate any relavant information I will post it.

Pre facelift can do it in 4 sec for the manual

Great find :)

i guess they measured 5,4s with a gear change from 2nd to 3rd instead of pulling from 3rd all the way. (5,4 is really no good advertisement, thats the time of my Fiesta ST approx...)

I guess facelift 6MT should be about 3.8 than as it has 10% more torque.

Edit: 5,4 is the official claim in 5th gear 50-75 (pricelist old i30 was also with 5ths gear time and it was 5,7) .... no wonder the DCT is 2 seconds faster. 3rd gear should be like 3,5 than at least.

Yes, the difference is significant. My assumption is that there is a gear change with the MT. No matter how quick you can shift gears, it seems this is where DCT's shine.

My take is that if you are chasing times (track or straight line) DCT is the go. If you want sheer engagement, then 6MT. YMMV, re the 6MT.
Totally agree with this comparison of dct vs manual. I have a Leon Cupra dsg and 2 years ago was desperate for a dsg gearbox despite testing an i30N and loving it. Now I hate the dsg and how it robs any involvement from driving the car. Unless you are flat out (which is way too quick on the road) it is just frustrating. Sounds like the Hyundai dct box works better and it's obviously personal choice at the end of the day but... I will be ordering a manual fl car as soon as I can.

In these pictures, the colour actually appears very different to reality.
Probably because of the flash.
I just saw an N-Line in sunset red. Although I am not a fan of red cars, i have to say it looks amazing! The rims fit perfectly to this color!

Maybe they are waiting for COC papers since they still can't be registered? My guess is that it's the same reason why we still don't have the german configurator.
Some dealers in Poland said that they're expecting the paperwork to be done next week! Exciting news as we also have quite a nice amount of cars already sitting at the dealers showrooms and parking lots.

That sounds Great 🤩

But it also makes me nervous and undecided because I was set to get the MT version but now I'm struggling because there already is one with DCT that's ready to go - standing right in the showroom and doesn't have a buyer yet.

Does anyone have any intel on the DCT regarding everyday usage? Is it reliable and smooth enough to commute comfortably and then, when want to - kick it and use its whole potential? The youtube reviews show only the high-performant usage of the DCT, so there's no answer to my questions so far.
