i30 N 2021 i30 N

I think I prefer my 2018 model. Infotainment screen looks bigger / wider which will be nice. Not sure of new grills on front?

Hello All,

My first post on this forum here. Hi to all.

I test drive the i30n performance last week and I stumbled upon the facelift is going to be out soon meaning the outgoing model will soon be further discounted? Any ideas of when will be a good time to engage with the dealer and buy the out going version? Thoughts/suggestions please.

Only the stock cars are being updated initially by the look of it. Can't see the I30N getting the relative mid life updates till early next year. So the current model may well get more difficult to get your hands on during this period. So I can't see myself that there will be any heavy discounting on the current model. There are already decent decent discounts to be had if you shop about. Manufacturers and dealers are usually pretty good these days at running stock levels down prior to any model upgrades. It's not like there are likely to be any fields full of "N" variants sitting around.

Good luck whatever you decide to do.

PS. There should be more concrete information once the Geneva motor show gets under way. Assuming of course that it does not get cancelled due to the current viral outbreak doing the global rounds!

Motor show has been cancelled

That's a shame. Though I obviously appreciate why. Things are starting to look a little bleak generally in the short term until the coronavirus outbreak starts to die down.

I wonder if Hyundai will do some sort of digital release O/L?

A few good points to think and ponder over there. Thanks Mikeo

Looks like things are starting to get grimmer by the day at the moment. South Korea certainly looks to be getting hit badly with the coronavirus. So this may well spell problems maybe for new car production / delivery for Hyundai.

New I30N's might even start to dry up if things drag on for an extended period. Not too sure when the production line for the curent model is set to halt? Must be soon I would have thought. New cars might even become less available! So even less likely to be heavy discounting on the outgoing model/s. Though hard to tell just yet I suspect. Maybe things will blow over quickly. One can but hope.

We live in troubled times.

The i30 facelift looks good. I wouldnt be surprsed if the bumpers from the facelift 2021 i30 N-Line will be carried over to the i30N. They’ll probably chance the rear valence for the i30N to compliment the larger dual exhaust tips.

Perhaps full LED rear lights???????????
Softer suspension and similar set up to I30 Fastback N (confirmed in Europe).
Wider screen for infotainment.

I am looking forward to the i20 and i30 2020 to be introduced at Geneva international auto show but no more cause the coronavirus spread :( Do you feel the same?
