Just looking at the pic from Rolord and i noticed mine is the other way around as in my fuses point down, i take this pic is the correct way and i should change mine?

It doesn't matter which way you plug in the fuse holder to the fuse panel.
Just about to do my dashcam. I've also got a rear dashcam, whats the best way to route the cable towards the back?

I installed the Hardwire-Kit for my DDPai Mini3 today. According to the manual there. A couple of pages ago, there was a discussion about hardwireing that specific cam that if I recall correctly wasn't successful because of a missing fitting fuse tap.
Well I ordered a set of Micro2 fuse taps @ Amazon.
The DDPai Hardwire-Kit needs 3 cables to connected. Ground connection, Permanent + and Ignition +
At first it was a little challenging to find the right fuses to use, because appearently Ignition + isn't real Ignition + on the N for all fuses... Some stay alive for some time after you stop and lock the car.
Finally I decided to tap the permanent + to the seat actuators fuse and the ignition + to the power outlet fuse.
Seems to work.
So the dashcam records normally as long ignition is alive. When ignition is off, the cam keep recording in timelapse mode until a (chooseable) voltage of the battery is reached, and then it shuts the cam off completely.
Fingers crossed, that my car will start tomorrow

I just fitted mine today before reading this guide, I need to get a micro fuse adaptor so I can hard wire it like I did in the Focus ST
If you hard wire it and you get any electrical issue Hyundai might void your warranty for electrics.

Halfords don't do them. I bought some spare fuses as well just in case.

FWIW, if it’s a Nextbase you can just ring them and they’ll send you the correct adapter for free.
So I have just bought the Viofo A129 which has parking mode too. So the hardwire cable has 3 wires. The GND for the earth. Then there's a yellow ACC wire, this one needs to go to the ignition live, like in the pictures, then the red 'battery' wire needs to go to a constant live. After a chat with my local friendly Hyundai workshop, they suggested to piggyback the brake switch fuse - and then check that the brake lights still work. Need to go buy the adaptors now. Will post again with pics, if it works!
My constant live piggybacks the passenger seat fuse. Works perfectly!
Not sure I'd mess with anything to do with brakes. Quite surprised Hyundai advised that.

About to fit a Blackvue dashcam but wondering where others have mounted it?
Putting it below the front windscreen sensor cluster cover looks like it will block the slots for the sensor on the bottom right.
Like to know if anyone has mounted it there and had any sensor issues??

Got a DR650GW-2CH hardwired. Here's the mounting position for the from cam. Didn't have any errors with it.

Very interesting. There must be LHD & RHD versions of the sensor cluster. Mine (Australia) has the sensors swapped around from yours. This means that the Blackvue foot (which sticks to the windscreen) sits right in front of the slots at the bottom left of your cluster (bottom right for mine, when sitting in the car). There’s a sensor that seems to be looking through those slots and also some slots immediately below it.
Would be good to know what sensors live in the cluster under that cover!

Its possible that the mist/fog sensor for your windscreen sits unter that slot, so o would thinkt that as long as you let a gap so that air can get in that slot it should be ok.
Fot the guys in the UK im sure there will a MOT fail if mounted within the wiper sweep.
yes you can unplug for the MOT but some are hardwired and stuck in place
