I dislike the look of both the Fastback and the yet to be released i30N Sedan, so it would be a hatch or nothing...Can likely be safely ignored. They also included the non performance pack engine. It's just Hyundai self-assessing the cars as meeting the Australian Design Regulations.
There are a number of reports that state the increased power / torque is due to a revised turbo and intercooler. Following is a link to one such report - https://www.whichcar.com.au/reviews/2020-hyundai-i30n-dct.Anybody know's about the new engine? Is the same turbo? Now output's (280hp, 392nm)

Also, and I have no way to verify this, apparently some of the end of production pre-FL cars got the updated turbo. I unfortunately cannot find the link to the article for that.
Not that it matters, since I imagine you need the turbo + intercooler + revised mapping to get the additional power/torque.
[edit]
Thats ignoring any aftermarket mods or the like. Its more that you cant whack in the updated parts to magically get the extra power.
Just talked with the local dealer and my FL is still in production and the ETA for delivery would be somewhere around end of May.
I really hope that's true but something inside me tells me to think more in mid-June. I can't see how would it be possible for a car that's still in production to be done and delivered in Romania in one month.

There is some kind of a live stream tonight. Maybe worth having a look
Regarding orders in Romania, I've heard the same story from two dealers since February (basically since I've starter shopping around for the best offer, that seems to be non-existent, since expected orders are at a very low number), but none of them could give me an official spec (even color, both of them insisting that Performance Blue is not available anymore for order and showing the color palette from the n-line i30), arrival date, VIN etc. So take that information with a grain of salt.
I've also been there with a lot of local dealers from Romania. I've told them that I want it to be Performance Blue and non of them was able to tell me if it's a metallic or pearlescent color, although it was somehow important for the final price of the car, that being the single optional for the car.
Here are the color availables, I wish there was a dark metallic blue![]()
I would love to see a Sunset Red one!
