i30 N 2021 i30 N

A 2.5-3K increase sounds too good to be true. I'm thinking closer to a 4-5K increase. The Civic Type R is now gone, the Yaris GR isn't available until next year, the new Golf GTi is stupidly expensive, and those in the market know the i30N is a better drive than the Focus ST and Megane RS. Hyundai Australia know all this so they'll mark up the price accordingly.

There has been some interesting news about the GR Corolla. If Hyundai continue to be jerks about pricing and availability they can go screw themselves. I'll take my money elsewhere - seriously tempted to get a Fiesta ST for now until the GR Corolla comes here (or possibly the new WRX STi).
If the price increase is more than I have been told i will not buy the i30N. Simple as that. Time is not a factor for me.

Hi all, another newbie here waiting on info about the FL i30N. I spoke to a local dealer today (in the UK) and he told me that next weeks N-Day will see the launch of the i30N as well as the i20N and Kona N. He seemed to think it then be early May for a demo car and all the info to become available.

This may well just be dealer-speak but fingers crossed things will move on?

No one wants the price of the face lift to go up but the new version is better than the previous model (from a specs perspective).

Comparing the base models in Australia I noticed they have increased the specs and added more features. I'm getting this off an old brocure vs what Hayden120 posted last week so maybe some are already included in the 2020 model but either way I added what I estimate Hyundai would charge if you bolted these on to the previous model.

Base model Upgrades:
Engine power up with bigger turbo (206KW/392Nm) +$500
New light weight 19" Wheels (if these where an optional extra they would have changed more than +$1000 to upgrade)
Front Brake upgrade to 360mm +$200
10.25" LCD +$500
Grin Shift $10,000.. not really, maybe $50 for the button.
Lane Follow Assist +$500
Rear Cross Traffic Assist (RCCA) $?
Leading Vehicle Departure Alert (LVDA) $?
Intelligent Speed Limit Warning (ISLW) $?
Blind Spot Assist (BCA) $?
Keyless Entry/push start +$200
Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (upgrade to pedestrian and cyclist detection) +$200
Courtesy lights + Puddle lights +$200
Wireless Qi charging +$200
Leather Seat upgrade from Cloth? (not sure if this is standard in the FL) +$500

Around $4k?

Yeah, I would think so. Anything less than 4-5K IMO would be too low, given the number of improvements and lack of competition.

Loving the look of those seats! Interior definitely a step up with the bigger screen too.

Was set on getting Dark Knight/Micron grey, but can't get past how good the Performance blue looks with the new black rims from that video. So double minded about which colour to order the FL in. Hmm

A few folks here in Austria have already received their i30N FL, but still can't register them as the COC papers are missing. So far there's no due date on when they'll arrive.

Oddly, the car is certified in Australia, but actual stock is nowhere to be seen!

I wonder if Hyundai is trying to align the release date across the globe or something?

Still no proper media reviews or anything. I really hope N Day next week is the end of the embargo.
