So was it just giving you the "Drive to Display" message too? If so I'll keep driving on mine for a while and see if it sorts itself out

3 minutes, with my MSW's and Hyundai TPMS's and they were displaying pressures no problem.

BTW your "H" centre caps fit the MSW wheels @Darthy .

Been out today in the dry with the Rainsport 3’s, they lack the turn in of the P-Zeros but I was expecting that.

In the wet however they are mega so far. Yet to try them in standing water but I’d recommend them already!

You just scrubbed 2mm off the tread depth..lol

They're not that good on dry roads.

@Darthy has your car started to recognise the sensors yet? I wasn't planning on putting my new wheels on for another week or 2 yet, but if you're still having issues I'd probably best check mine too sooner rather than later!

In fairness, no - it was just bonging every time I started the car, showed the tyre pressures (even after I'd pumped them up above stated minimums)... and did that for 2-3 trips, covering over 90 miles subsequently.

Still just saying "Drive to Display" :( gonna call rimstyle today

Okay..... Not so happy with the response....

Hi
Further to our conversation, I’ve spoken to the TPMS manufacturer and they have informed us that there are 2 possible relearn procedures depending on a software version used on the vehicle.
The 1st method is the one you have already tried, but I thought include the correct sequence in case it highlights a point causing the issue:

The second is to use an OBD tool to register the sensors to the onboard computer. I’ve included below some details to help explain this procedure.
I’ve also attached images to show the correct steps to follow.

OBD Relearn:
An OBD relearn procedure requires a TPMS scan tool to transfer new sensor IDs directly to the vehicle’s ECU. The user would need to scan each TPMS sensor, connect to the vehicle’s OBD port, then follow the step-by-step instructions on the tool. The new TPMS sensor IDs are then transferred to the vehicle.

For example, a 2011 Toyota Camry requires an OBD relearn procedure:
  • Inflate all tires
  • Read all sensor IDs using TPMS scan tool
  • Connect tool to OBD port
  • Reset ECU with tool
  • Turn ignition OFF, then ON
  • Drive at 12 mph for up to 5 minutes

Devices that are able to carry out the relearn procedure are Ateq, Bartec, Autologic and Snap-On diagnosistic tools.
In the UK there are tens of thousands of garages that have these devices such as Kwik-Fit, Hyundai directly, ATS Euromaster, National Tyres e.t.c.

I hope that helps, but please feel free to contact me if you need any further help / information.

Kind regards

I was hoping for better response than that, basically sort the issue out yourself..

Yeah, could be wrong but other people on here have had after market sensors on their car and only had to drive them to get them picked up so I'm really not happy with this response. I've emailed them back saying that and I'll let you know if i get a response.

If you have the same issue when you try yours on I'd get straight on the phone to them and let them know that they are selling sensors that don't work with the car !

Just had a thought, I'm going to inflate all the tyres to 40psi and see if that helps. I believe they are pressure activated so maybe my tyre pressure isn't high enough

Will these wheels fit my stock pirelli summertyres?
8.5J x 19 inch - 5x114.3 - ET 45 - CB 72.6

I'm a bit worried now as I bought mine from Rimstyle (not put them on yet, way to warm).
Saying that, I bought some for my Fiesta ST from Rimstyle a few years back and the TPMS worked fine soon as I put them on - never even got a warning message.

If over inflating them does not work, is it worth taking it to Hyundai and see if they can set them up? Hopefully for free!

Okay great news! I didn't even have to over inflate them, somehow on the way back from work the just stated working !

Must have driven them for about 3 hours so don't panic if it doesn't show up straight away !

That's great news! I've just put mine on but haven't driven on them yet, so hopefully mine will work too!
