What did you do to your N today ?

Where’d you end up mounting your tank ? And where did you place the nozzle ? Also kinda sad you didn’t take more pics. I was excited to see you post a install thread for the meth injection.

I was in a rush with most of the install as I had to do it after work and needed to be out by a certain time so I didn't really think about it at the time. I'll see if I can snap some pics of the mounting locations next time I have the car in the air.

The 5L tank is hidden in the driver's fender liner area, the pump is mounted near it on a custom bracket (inlet of the pump at the same level as the lowest point of the fluid tank).

The nozzle is placed in the front port of the Torque Solutions throttle body spacer I installed previously (from a 2013+ Gen Coupe 2.0T).

Gave my car a good clean, took off the wheels and washed them down and finished off with some poor boys wheel sealant, there was loads of brake dust on the inside and also some rubbery goo stuff on some of the wheels!?

Installed window visors from WellVisors. 15 minute install that will nearly eliminated the buffeting completely, with the windows down;

And ordered Rally Armor Mud Guardss-l1600.jpg

I believe they don't detract from the lines of the VN. Hyundai has none and WellVisors is the only one to utilize metal clips as well as 3M tape. $63 is a good price for them as well.:)

Installed a RAM mount that works with either my Phone or AiM Solo DL Data Logger.

It starts with this base:

Then you add this 3 inch arm:

Then you add this magnetic mount for the Phone:

I put one of these metal bases on my phone case so it will attach to the magnetic base

This is the Phone:

When I use my Data Logger, I remove the magnetic mount and screw my Data Logger mount in. The mount comes with the AiM Data Logger and I screwed that into a RAM Diamond with 1 inch ball which screws into the RAM Arm.

The Data Logger magnetically attaches into its metal base:

Fits nicely as well! Is the unit Bluetooth or direct link?

Direct cable link to ODB-II. Then the Solo DL hooks up to a SmartyCAM camera and overlays the data on the video in real time. No post syncing. Except the Solo DL is not working with the Hyuandi ECU. I am waiting to hear back from AiM.

Oh yea, I also did a few things to my N recently in preparation of the last track day I went to on Monday. 19-row thermostatic oil cooler install with custom brackets I made by hand, and Defi BF gauge install (oil pressure and oil temp). Not bad for $180 shipped to my door from eBay :p. Worked as advertised, thermostat opens up at 80*C, and it dropped my oil temps on the track by 10-15*C.

Regarding the turbo removal/installation, how hard is it to do with the engine still in the vehicle? The factory service manual says to remove the engine to remove the turbo, but I find it hard to believe that's really necessary.

I'm planning to upgrade my turbo soon, is there any tips you could give for it's removal/installation?

My local Hyundai dealers workshop did whole job and they didn’t remove the engine. All removed parts are visible on photo.
I can see 6,7-hours of work on my invoice and I paid 450€ with 23% VAT.

Sounds reasonable, as well.

Oh, they'd have a field day here.:p I'm pretty certain even with the relationship I have with them, they wouldn't do it. I'm glad you trust them to do so correctly.

Long as I have access to a lift, I'm good as gold. I can rent garage & lift space, so it's not a big issue.
