TarmoT 385bhp/526Nm i30ntracktoy - SOLD

Car had Whiteline anti-lift kit and control arm bushing installed yesterday but.... we had a problem with brake cooling ducts.
As a warning for another i30/Veloster N owners - if your front anti rollbar is upgraded, there is no way to install these brake cooling ducts:

As you can see that there will be no clearance left between ARB drop link and brake cooling duct. Also there is no sense to cut off some plastic because you have to remove whole 8cm-s from the right top of duct (car is on the lift and if we will put it back on ground, control arm is moving even more upwards). But if we will cut off that end piece of cooling duct, it will be not functional anymore because there will be no "bucket" shape part what will catch the air in.
With stock front ARB these ducts will work perfect.

He just might be after his post above ^. Damn, sorry to hear that mate. What is the plan then @TarmoT ?
There is no sense because shipping them to another part of world, will be 2 x more expensive that those parts.
Everybody can go to the local Audi or VW dealer and order those ducts.
8V0 407 811 and 8V0 407 812
We will build custom cooling ducts by using adaptor flanges and 60mm flexibe pipe.

I got my car back from Hyundai and my first ride was from workshop to my home (around 2,5.kilometers). Because we had lots of traffic yesterday, I was able to make only short accelerations between 20 and 70 km/h. My disappointment was big when I discovered that I have no sharp kick anymore and car feeled like 25% down on power. So I went home, put my car to the garage and called to my tuner to ask is it normal that without making adjustments in current tune, car can be slower than before. He told me that because cold side of new turbo is bigger, it might be that there is more turbo lag and it does not feel so sharp anymore. He also told me that my current tune has cutted low end torque, it might be even more noticeable after installing hybrid turbocharger. He also told me that something is very wrong if there is no noticeable increase of power after 4000rpms, where stock turbocharger will start to loose a torque.
So I took my car out from garage again and went to the motorway...
And that additional power after 4000rpm-s was there :D
So second part of next week my tuner will take it and we will find out what we will be able to get out from new setup. If we will be able to make close to 350 safe bhp-s, Snow Performance WMI kit will be not installed and I must sell it.

He told me that because cold side of new turbo is bigger, it might be that there is more turbo lag

I dont intend to be rude and please correct me if I'm wrong but that does not make a lot of sense, does it? The hot side is the one where all the power goes into the turbine and if thats too big, you will need more exhaust gas (= more rpm) to spool it up, hence the lag. The cold side is connected with a fixed shaft, so it will just make the same rpm as the hot side and press as much air into the engine as possible due to rpm, turbine geometry and set pressure limitations. Meaning, if you enlarge the cold side turbine in a reasonable way and keep the hot side as it is, you should get the same "sharp" response but more power out of it. A slight tradeoff between response and power would make sense to me but not as you described. Could all be the software though..
