Thanks for the pictures. The adapter are looking good.
Did you just change the speakers or have you done something else (sounddeadening)?

Did you leave the stock tweeters in?

yes!
I bought audison AP1 tweeters to put in.
After taking out the factory tweeter I noticed that designing a new bracket would be pain.
Also, tweeters are very similar to audison.
Even the filter cap is the same!
So, factory tweeters and audison tweeters have same hi pass filter at 3,5 kHz.
I decided to leave factory ones and will return audisons to the store :)

Can i ask what made you choose the audison speakers? Do they produce good bass?

well, they produce great everything :)
back in 2011 when I started to build sound system in my old i30, audison was awarded best European In-Car Speaker System so I tried them and was stuck :)
And they are not really expensive here in Croatia.
They are the same company as Hertz but more 'premium'

Have you tried to print an adapter?

Ah ok i only ask because im looking at what speakers to put in mine so far im think JL audio or kicker..
No haven't printed i cant see where you put the file?

What kind of filament is being used for that? Any supportprints done? the file is without supports, so i think its going to deform in the upper ring

used PETG and support for upper ring :)
100% infill
supports are generated by your slicer, not 3d model.

Out of curiosity, how much would it cost for 4 of those adapters? I've never played with 3D printing before.

Someone knows the maximum dimensions for the speaker? So 165mm width will fit. But what about the depth? There are some available from 42 to 93mm. The one I'll maybe give a try would have 64mm. Do you think this is a problem?

Primas I installed have mounting depth of 56mm. My adapters are 26mm high.
That gives us 30mm of speaker inside the doors.
And they are quite close to glass when you lower it.
