Today's work: Stereo upgrade.

Important: If it can not be done by force, it can be done by more force.

Removing the door covers is just awful. Thanks to @Maverick for the how to.

Sound? A bit deeper. More clear. Also on high volume no problems with deep sounds. Definetly worth it.
Thanks @Haba1205 for the stl file which could be modified and also for the correct names of the connection plugs.

It feels wrong to sit on this side when your car is not right hand drive.

I like the look, way more sporty. And by the way, it's cheap, fast to install and nice to look at.

Glad you managed to do the doors in the end. Sounds like they were a bugger to get off. Did they go back on easily? Can't wait to upgrade my sound system

@B00n87 no problems at all. I was a bit scared about how hard they fit. But once done the second took only 10 minutes to remove, replace and put back on.

@Mordog we did some modification in height, because my speakers are a bit higher than the ones used by @Haba1205. Also a few holes to add screws and a hole for the wires. And yes, reduced the infill and added a slope.

@Varmint the stripes are the ones described and posted in accecoires / ideas. You could easily find them on eBay or Amazon, cost about 1€/m so you could use 5m for the whole car.

Thanks, but a link would be appriciated.

I found a lot of different stripes, most of them have a metallic look. The ones in your picture look much better then the metallic ones.
And I found some which are illuminated, so you could go full crazy if you wanted :D

Here a short How to do for the "Door Panel Removing".

Have to do it again tomorrow, because there is an ugly sticker at the speaker ring. -.-

I suppose, without the many stickers the car would be 100kg lighter.

@King_Elk Take a look @ the video, There you can see it.

Otherwise I'll do some pics tomorrow :)

@Maverick 0:37 is just for you, I know you like that key :D

Your welcome.
Just remembered that we have English words in Germany that exist anywhere else or have a completely different meaning :)

Your English is far better than my German. Not hard however as my German is pretty much non-existent. Great talking to you guys on the forums though and you all seem to love your N cars.
