My i20N

Excellent!
We are back to tyre chat. My fave subject!!
I will be getting my 4 new tyres in the next few weeks so I have been doing even more research than usual.
I had a chat with Snapper on this forum. He has Bridgestone Potenza Sport 225/40 and he loves them.
ChatGPT is a big fan of them too.
PS4S seem very expensive compared to all the other tyres - not worth the cost in my opinion.
There is an Evo version of the Potenza but I have not seen enough info on it so I will stick with the standard version.
I don't trust ChatGPT very much but here is a bit of what ChatGPT said...........

I’ve been rethinking my tyre options and I think I’m going to get Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S. Not a cheap option but tried and tested. Any thoughts?

I put on PS5's and slightly regret it and wish I went for PS4 S's instead. I don't really do enough mileage to justify the value prop from PS5's and would've preferred tyres with better dry handling performance. If I was doing a daily commute in the car or a lot of motorway miles then yeah sure, but given most of my driving is just leisure a more capable tyre would've probably been better suited.

Also there are some test's where the PS4 S's are only slightly worse than PS5's in the wet, so they're still quite capable for wet performance.

The main advantage to PS5's would've been the tyre life and wet handling (which again isn't that much better). Can't comment on SC7's though but would've taken them over PS5's too just for the improved dry perf.

Ithink, for me, I would like that sharp turn in of the PS4. I had a very spirited drive yesterday and whilst the GY asymetrric 6 has tremendous mid corner grip I would like it to turn in a bit sharper and have a touch more feedback.
