Suspension and Chassis Mando ECS10: I30N owners might be interested!

I have to always connect the module to make it work. So yes, always on the mobile, connecting, and after that it works. Otherwise it's just OEM.

I leave the app in Korean. I know what buttons to push in the app so I don't need English anymore.

There is an autoconnect option but it has never worked for me. I always have to manually search for the module. Would save a lot of time if it did.

mhmm interesting. auto-connect works just fine for me 🤔

Same here, the module stays connected. I only need to use my mobile if I want to change to a custom mode.
Switching the language to English in Android, setting the device and custom modes up and then going back to any other language shouldn't be a problem at all. When you need to switch the modes in the app, it's really straightforward and doesn't matter which language it's in.

It seems like crap to me to have to be like this for a € 350 thing, if it cost € 10 I could understand.

Maybe because I have Android... :')

I can totally agree that they can improve on a lot of things, but if you want to tune the OEM suspension you cannot go another route then the Mando module.

If you think it's crap don't buy it^^
Don't really get your point here - you asked for our opinions and you got them?

The module has never been developed for the i30N in mind, we are lucking we even get it for our cars, as Mando usually only develops parts for the Korean market...

you're absolutely right. that's why still. or I have bought it. because for example you said that without choosing any mode the steering wheel modes were not oem if not modified and that according to the rest is not so. You ask the seller for information and they refer you to a stinger post. I'm not saying that the product is crap, what I'm saying is that it sucks to have to go around changing the phone to English to at least have the application in English. That it sucks that neither an installation nor a user manual comes. The product may be good, but those two details honestly sucks.

yep agree with you on that.
just wanting to add, that is support is crap, because you can only buy it through a reseller. Although that guy is nice and tries his best, its not the "factory support" from Mando itself.

the seller is great and responsive to everything but the manufacturer's support in pitiful. I'll keep thinking about it, the manufacturer seems very little serious to me.

Despite the unfortunate support from the manufacturer, which is unresponsive, I decided to buy it.
The product works fantastic, I dare say that it should come with the stock one, highly recommended.

Those of you with the Mondo Box installed, What are your prefer settings values?

I just got mine in the mail and will be curious at the findings.

I only use it for when the misses is next to me. Then everything is on the softest setting possible. :)

Hahaha! Happy Wife, Happy Life!

So does it mean the app will over right the car’s suspensions setting?

IE, Car in Eco mode, App in N mode. The dampers will be in N?

If you just connect the module and enable - it will enhance the OEM modes and you'll still be able to switch them on the steering wheel.

If you choose one of the Mando modes - the car's suspension will stay in that mode, regardless of what you select on the steering wheel.

Correct, if you enable the module and select one of the modes in the app, it will stay in that mode regardless which mode you select on the steering wheel. :)

Hey guys, I got the box but in a twist of faith, ended up getting a set of KW instead. Box is for sale, if anyone might be interested. Holla! :)

Why don't they make a rotating selector knob to plug in the module so you can go thru the custom Mando ESC maps without having to use your smartphone?
