i20N - Reviews, General Discussion & Info

Do u mean that they will cancel existing orders for the i20n? That is absurd imo. I would be furious if that happens cause i am already waiting 6 months for mine...
No! But new upcoming N models that will not comply with Euro7 (cat pre-heating, etc) I do expect that they will not be for the European market :(

Thank god cause i couldnt stand it if they decide to cancel the orders. Yeah Euro7 will be very harsh for these models.

P.S When ur i20n comes to Greece, heads will be turning immediatly when they see it on the roads hahahaha. They already take pictures of i20n's parked outside, imagine yours hahaha.

No but there will be no new model of the i20n

To be honest, they said there is going to be a facelift coming around September. Anyways, here no one has any clue on what is going on with current production and the possible facelift for the i20n 🙁

ALL ORDERS that have been done DIRECTLY TO THE FACTORY will be respected. This means you will get your pre-FL order before November 2023, because I have been told directly by Hyundai higher ups (off the record) that they will fulfil all consumer pre-FL orders before that date.

FL version will be announced in September with media cars around the end of September/ middle of October. However consumer cars only late Jan 2024 as I have said in the other threads.

Right now they have stopped accepting new i20 and i20 N orders across many European countries.

What changes on the new model? We know the mechanic level should be the same but they will try to lower the costs and offer more tech onboard.

They aren't simply taking more orders across Europe right now, they are trying to finish all the orders before they announce the FL.

It's going to be the same situation as with the Fiesta ST MK7 --> 7.5 where they will at some point either produce everything before or have two lines until everything is accomplished.

Do you mean a new model version in 2025/26? The facelift has been approved for both regular i20 and N according to Albert...

Regarding on the future of the i20, it depends they haven't been able to green light a new model with combustion but according to inside info the i20 will be offered in Hybrid and Electric versions in future models... We just don't know about the N as a full electric version.

This specific part is somewhere on the internet? Or is it internal from Hyundai? I haven't read something similar.
Acoording to that, we should be fine i guess..

Someone who works at Hyundai told me this, I'm just saying exactly what he told me. He was in AUS for the recent NEnthusiast event where Albert went. I have a PRE-FL ordered back in October, arriving this month.

Also please take in mind the orders I'm discussing are DIRECT FACTORY orders, meaning cars that will be made on demand by request of a client to car stand

If this Fl ever materializes you can pretty much guarantee after how long it takes to get a pre face lift model that you arent going to see any on the road till at least end of 2024 if you are lucky!

Yeah it's insane, I have been holding off selling my Clio V for 6 months now.

Hey All!
Would like to ask for you experience on Delivery Updates.

In may I was lucky enough to get myself an I20N of which the order had been canceled by another customer.
Dealer said back then that the car was already on it's way and would be there in 2 weeks (now a month later).

I get that sometimes things are delayed, but what I find somehow strange is the fact that he told me that he also has zero updates on the whereabouts of the car.

I would expect dealers to receive some sort of updates from their logistics partners right?

Cheers

ayo, ive been waiting for about year for mine now, was meant to have it in april as the "car had arrived" which it actually hadn't. Dealership said just a few weeks now as the car arrived for the second time. Hopefully you also get yours soon.

Hallo zusammen!

---

Hello,

I was told exactly the same. Vehicle already in Germany, already in the dealer's inventory, but not delivered.
Short I have already received. But the vehicle has not arrived at the dealer until today.

very strange. I am patiently waiting because I really want the car, but somehow you'd expect a dealer to know more accurate when cars come in.

sehr eigenartig.

---

I have registered my vehicle today. I am really curious when this now arrives at the dealer. Delivery date was agreed but the car is not at the dealer.
