Done the latest update on my facelift and have now found the split screen doesn't list things like engine and oil temp, any ideas on how to get it back?
My old version was:
Software: PDEN.EUR.SOP.V085.180104.STD_M (version 85 from 04.01.2018)
Firmware: PDEN.EUR.267.171127.MICOM.DL (version 267 from 27.11.2017) aka very old!
Navigation: DAP.EUR.HMC.170905.2DC47DC (05.09.2017??) aka even older!
Maps: EUR.10.41.46.701.002.2(D.D1)

So for me this update was a lot newer!
Gear you will need:
- a computer with at least 50GB of free space
- Winrar application
- 1 empty SD card of 32GB formated as FAT32 (very important!) a micro SD with an adapter to normal SD size will also work, as long as it is formatted as FAT32. You could use the OEM maps SD card that came with the car after you backup it's content first on your computer.
Files you will need:
1. Hyundai_EU_All_Software_2019-1.2.rar (for the actual Firmware - and Software update)
2. Hyundai_Gen5.0_Mobis_Map_2019-1.rar (for the current navigation maps)
You can download the files from this site:

Time you will need:
Apart from downloading the files to your computer and extracting them, the updates in the car took me about 30 minutes.
let's get started!
Update Software, Firmware and Navigation;
That's it! Very easy
- Download both .rar files on your computer.
- Extract both .rar files using Winrar to separate folder on your computer.
- Fast format your spare SD card to FAT32 (You could use the OEM maps SD card that came with the car after you backup it's content first on your computer.).
- Copy the content from Hyundai_EU_All_Software_2019-1.2 to your spare SD card (place files in the main root, for example F:\).
- Go to your car.
- Start the engine, wait for the infotainment to load completely.
- Eject the OEM Hyundai maps SD card (slot below the touchscreen). Keep it aside for later.
- Insert your spare SD card which contains the Hyundai_EU_All_Software_2019-1.2 files.
- The system will now popup a message "Press [OK] to update the software...PDEN.EUR.SOP.V100.181004.STD_M" View attachment 9435
- Press OK.
- The update will now perform. ~30min. The system will reboot a couple of times, this is normal. You don't have to do anything. If you want you can drive the car around, this is no problem.
- System will boot but will have no navigation maps (logical since we ejected the maps SD card).
Software, Firmware and Navigation are now updated!
Only thing left to update are the navigation maps them self.
Update navigation maps
Done!
- Put the OEM Hyundai maps SD card in your computer.
- Backup all files from this SD card to your hard drive (place them somewhere safe just in case).
- Fast format your OEM Hyundai maps SD card to FAT32.
- Copy the content of Hyundai_Gen5.0_Mobis_Map_2019-1 to your OEM SD card (place files in the main root, for example F:\).
- Insert the OEM SD card in the car.
- The new GPS maps are automatically detected. This SD card needs to stay in the slot.
When all above steps are successful your info screen should look like this:

I believe it's not been released yet as it's buggyDo you know if the EU version is the one that is suitable for UK cars (now we aren't classed as being in EU?) UK does not appear in the drop down list. also I note in the car list that the latest i30N is not listed only 2020 model or is that including the facelifted version too?

Has anyone who has carried out the November update experienced issues with navigation, for instance when I'm following a route it constantly tells me to go straight on at every layby and minor junction on the main road, so when I'm on a 70 mile straight road I'm interrupted about 30 times to hear the voice telling me to keep right and go straight on, plus the info pull out screen on the RHS is chopped up into the same sections rather than a 70 mile one piece of info.
I've tried contacting Hyundai support on the update site and their advice was a reset of the head unit, I'm reluctant to do this as my wife's Kia Stonic has the same issue.
Does anyone else have this problem?
Well I managed to install the Europe Nov version into my FL DCT initially I thought I had a problem as I sent a nearby location to the sat nav via blulink and when I tried to start the sat nav got the following message. So I couldn't see the map but the voice directions still worked. However when I reached the destination and left the car for awhile when I returned and went into the sat nav it appeared to be working normally again. I hope all is well but I need to check if it is using more up to date maps I wasn't able to confirm the map no. Hopefully I will give it a better trial at the weekend.Didn't get the chance to try on highway yet but I got some weird behaviour not giving me advance notice for some turns.
It got improved after changing the auto zoom settings by removing the lowest and highest zoom scales and instead selecting 50m for 19klm/h and 800m for the 100klm/h.
My guess is that, in my case, when going below 19klm , having a 25m distance doesn't give enough "space" to give the heads up warning and go directly to the immediate instruction to turn. This can be the case of a very large scale on highway speeds where the detail is not enough causing to alert to keep straight.
it's a guess but worth to give it a shot before going to any reset options etc
Works fine driving but disable start/ stop before you begin.Well I managed to install the Europe Nov version into my FL DCT initially I thought I had a problem as I sent a nearby location to the sat nav via blulink and when I tried to start the sat nav got the following message. PS I wasn't happy about leaving the car idling for 30 mins whilst it installed wonder if it would work ok if I was driving somewhere instead?
I did the update while driving this morning. Disabled start/stop and everything went fine. I recently updated and can still do full screen carplay. Are you sure the setting is enabled? I can’t remember where it is but it is well hidden and defaults to disabling full screen CarPlay. As above mentioned by LewisW after dealer update we have lost splitscreen functions on the facelift, also have lost the ability to full screen Android auto/carplay, does anyone have the launch software so we can roll back?
After last update, I have a problems with laggy radio station logos (they didnt change after changing to other one station), and also nav screen when splited in home screen, goes back to 2D view.
Pre-lift 2018 car.
Didnt help, mate. Also going back to default settins, did not help. But thanks for trying.I have had this a couple of times. If you go into the Map View settings, then it still shoed as 3D.
Click to 2D and then back to 3D, and it sorts it.
Mine did this a few times just after I did the upgrade, but seems to have settled down and doesn't do it any more.....
