Nah mate, it comes from Australia thru an authorized or third party eBay vendor.

K&N doesn’t sell direct on eBay, except thru authorized or non-direct vendors. If you bought it thru eBay, it was thru either but not thru K&N direct.

K&N sells direct to customers worldwide thru their internet website. With vendor subscription and sellers cost from eBay tacked on along with shipping from the US to Australia, the price would be astronomical US.👍🇺🇸

Like I said the the vendor organised the replacement direct from k&n since it took a month to get it

Hola,

Quite desperate here.
I can't decide between Forge and Airtec induction kit.
I live in north Italy, if that's of any help, so classic Mediterranean climate, but a bit colder.

Airtec induction tube is a bit smaller, but it has the heath shield.
I really can't decide to be honest, I'm also open to hybrid solutions, like "take the Airtec one but use this XY filter".

I have to make a track beast, close to 400hp (with all the other mods), so I really need all the optimization possible.
I will still use it year around for sport touring too, but focus is optimal performance, don't care about noise and such.

Please help me!!!!

Heat shield makes no difference in performance or actual heat soak reduction. The only time it plays a part, is sitting at idle and not much. If your going to make a track car and are looking for near 400 bhp you'd better go with the Forge Motorsport Kit.👍🇺🇸

Does the size difference actually matter that much?

Then keep the standard air box or the below. Open induction kits do near enough nothing but noise on PFL

But I have a PFL with e0 turbo and a lot of other mods... Why does it matter if it's PFL or FL?

any of you guys have a e-0642 on a kona n and have it a bit loose and left it that way? i just got mine in today and it seems somewhat snug, but if i pull up on it, i can basically pull it out. do you recommend me putting cardboard on the wedge to make it more snug? or is that unnecessary. i would like to run it with the lid off, but i have various concerns with doing so.

I think it would be the right thing, my old filter injen was much more fluid
Hello,
I wouldn't recommend Injen... It has a higher flow but it doesn't filter really fine particles... I had some turbo damage after 10000km with an Injen CAI on my preveous BMW 320i... It looked like there broke some little pieces of the turbo vanes. Also there was some dust and even some grains of sand in the hose between the cai an the turbo inlet...

I have just received my "Hyundai i30 Fastback 1.5.T-GDi 48V DCT - N Line". As a sports car driver i wanted N not N Line. Unfortunately N was way over budget, more than 15.000€ (Greece is awesome!). So i will be stuck with 160PS.

I really need a cold air intake kit. Unfortunately i can not find anything for my car.

Any ideas?

Be prepared for a large increase in induction noise! I also have the resonator delete plus the Kompact Dual Port BOV. I'll admit the induction noise has lost a tiny bit of it's initial appeal over time as this car is my daily but I wouldn't go back to the standard air box. This kit took me way longer than it should have to install but I wanted to be methodical in removing the standard intake and installing the IFX system exactly as the instructions stated.

Non car people who sit in the car often comment saying "why does your car sneeze (BOV) and hiss (IFX intake)?" I hope you enjoy your intake as much as I am, the car certainly breathes better and sounds mint.
What does it sound like and does it void your warranty?
