I said a while back that I could not see how the new I30n could be less than £32k. The current list for the outgoing model is the best part of £30k (£29,810). Pretty much would bring it in line price wise with the new Focus ST.

Affordability will come down as usual to what deals / discounts will be available.

yes lets hope they will offer some discounts or a good PCP rate if they want to get some sold at launch. certainly hope the dealers are better prepared with finance figures than they were when the i30N was first launched.

I think IF I opt to go for an updated i30n in the coming years, it will be the fastback. The more I see of it, the more appealing the get.

That's also the first time I've seen anywhere give an indication of when it will actually be available - March 2021 according to them

I'm wondering if this is dependent on the car rather than an actual specified choice?

I understand that the hatchback currently has blue accents / stitching and the fastback has red?

Might be the same with the buttons - which is a shame if it is, as I much preferred the black ones in the current fastback.

I think you will can choose red/blue on i30n hatch only, fastback will be still on black.

The Nav-Unit, including the plug on the back. From the looks it seems like it may be a plug-and-play replacement.
