i30 N 2021 i30 N

From a German Hyundai Retailer i know that the i30n get‘s the digital Cluster from the normal i30n

Not according to Hyundai's own press release, which says;

" The interior of the new i30 N is focused on connecting the driver with the car at all touch points. The analogue cluster includes features such as the active variable LED red zone....."

🤔

Strange. Hyundai press release says different. Interior stays 95% the same as the old i30n.

I think I saw a video where the retailer said that the i30N will get the digital dash but I don't know if this is true... Maybe wrong information idk

Possible, but he was sure and said he had official information

Found this pictures in an German i30N Facebook Group. Pictures were taken yesterday in Spa (Belgium) at the Race Track. View attachment 15381View attachment 15382View attachment 15383View attachment 15384View attachment 15385
I much prefer the rounded headlights rather than this V shape DRL. It looks someone is making a rude gesture to me, with both hands. And its too Ford fiesta.

As for the rear, why have a horizontal bar across the splitter? Isn't air supposed to travel upwards? If splitters are not adding performance value, then best to avoid altogether, like these fake exhaust pipes with 4 outlets.

The day before yesterday I asked my dealer here in Germany for an offer. He said that I should ask again at the beginning of December. Presumably you can then order.

This facelift seems to be taking forever to get released. It was March when it first started getting publicised and pictures/details were out ages ago. I'm getting facelift fatigue already! The BMW 128ti has gone from nothing to released in the time the i30n facelift has been under discussion.

Is anyone else mentally preparing for major delays? Czechia (where the car is manufactured), and Europe more generally, is having a huge surge in COVID cases these past few weeks.

I think there is a real chance that we might see manufacturing shutdowns over the winter months. At this rate, I'm having doubts that the car will be on sale by early next year...

That thought did cross my mind too when I read about the resurgence in COVID-19 cases in the Czech Republic this week and their PM's apology to his citizens.

Hope not, had to sell my car this week because it‘s broken and i am waiting for the DCT 😰

Just been reading the Hyundai press release for the new i30N https://www.hyundai.news/eu/press-k...undai-i30-n-enhanced-for-maximum-driving-fun/ sounds good and if the price is right might be tempted to upgrade.

Does anyone know if the N lite seats are heated and have adjustments like the current electric seats can't tell from the photos?

Also think its a bit stingy to only include BCA-R and RCCA for the Auto version and how much extra will the options like large display be I wonder hope they don't end up like VW charging for everything as an extra.

Just found this article about the 2021 Australian launch. It doesn't sound like there will be 2021 fastback N. Thats disappointing cos I have been waiting on the fastback DCT. Does anyone know any insiders to confirm?

BMW 128ti or i30N DCT Facelift? BMW price might be around £32000. Hyundai should be careful about pricing Facelift i30N.

The price looks to be comparable, but I suspect that the spec won't be.

Looking at many cars in the same segment from other manufacturers, kit which comes as standard in the i30N would cost between £3K - £10K (depending on manufacturer) to get the same level of kit.

But that would be a stock 128ti. If you would bring it up to the same spec as a i30N has as standard, you will have to ad another 7500, at least in Belgium where you can already configure it.
I learned long ago that makes like Mercedes, Audi and BMW seem to offer nice cars for a good price, until you start looking at the specs. Nearly everything needs to be paid extra and than it becomes expensive very fast (not to speak about maintenancecosts...).

edit: Yonderbosk just beat me to it 😁
