I've not owned a Hyundai before so not sure if any of the dealerships near me are any good. From past experience with Ford, after about 4 disasters I finally found a dealership that took some pride in what they did.

Not sure if I'm being over the top about the seats though? Should I get them to look at it or are all the i30n's like it?
 
Not really looked at mine. But When my folks visited my Mum was sat in the back and I wasn't told about any issues. Whereabouts in Wales are you? Gloucester or Worcester are good if not too far. Or Chippenham.

Just to pre warn you if they ceramic coat the ppf unless they use a certain type its useless as the ppf moves it breaks the ceramic down so it wont work.

I ppf'd my front of the car when i got it new and have a special ceramic on the ppf where as a different one for the rest of the car. Granted my ppf has failed so being replaced after 2 years but just thought i'd warn you.

Worcester is probably too far for me, I'm from south wales, Gloucester is a bit closer but again a long way for them to just inspect it. Think I'll just leave it to save any other potential problems arising from taking it to the dealership but I'm a bit of a perfectionist so its hard to ignore 😬

I know the installer well - The work is top quality and i've got friends who have had the same treatment with no issues.
 
Just collected mine. Arrived at the dealer yesterday, ordered 1st August.
10 miles on the clock.

First thoughts-
Love the Nlight seats
DCT is nice
Otherwise it’s much the same as my 2020 model

It does feel faster though🧐

Just ordered a new dct 8 in shadow grey with n-light seats.
Got a decent trade in offer on the old n, although it will have 110k on the clock by the time the new one will arrive (07/22 😏).

IS that the 7th January 2022, or July 2022?
 
For anyone that is still waiting, it’s worth chasing your dealer to check dates, mine seems to continually be creeping forwards over the past month.

It was delayed until mid December (originally due Oct), I emailed two weeks ago and it had come forwards by two weeks, and I emailed again yesterday and it’s come forward by another week again, and is now due to arrive next week apparently.

To add to this: I asked the dealer to deliver the car with wintertyres on the original wheels, cause I'm no fan of the Pirelli's. To my surprise, he immediatly agreed 🙂.
I will have a set Motec Ultralights or Tomason lights with Michelin Ps4s waiting by the time the car arrives...

I ordered mine on 14th August for max 16 weeks delivery so due Mid December latest but they hoped sooner. No updates at all each time I ask, except one last week telling me the system now shows delivery for early January :-(
It seems some have ordered later than me and have a delivery date already so not sure what is going on. Emailed and called the dealer a few times this week but they are not getting back to me.
Very annoying as I sold my car last month while used prices were crazy high so I really hoped to have the new one this year.

It seems very hit and miss. Logic would dictate that yours would be around 2 weeks from now given when I ordered compared to you.
If it’s any consolation I too was at one point told December, but it then arrived last week.
Who is your dealer?

Thanks, that’s good to know.
I will try again to get hold of them. Richmond in Portsmouth- they were great the last time I bought from them but seem very reluctant to update me this time around. The salesman doesn’t call me back and takes 3-4 days to reply to emails too.
very frustrating

I ordered last day in July and it’s now due next week apparently. So yours should be a few weeks after that, unless there are other delays now or different times for different specs.
