i30 N 2021 i30 N

Haven't checked out all features but surprised to see log of drives including max speed !!!!! Be good if it could be used as remote tracker. Am I right in thinking there is in effect a mobile phone built into the car or is it some WiFi type system ?

Think it's wifi

Couple more pics. N Logo still had white protector on

It actually has a built in SIM card. you are able to use Bluelink over it and set up your car. It can notify you when you left your car unlocked and things like that. Work well so far :)

Yeah I know bud got it all set up and using it, just wasn't sure how it communicated

Is there some info or a video somewhere showcasing the features of BlueLink for the i30N? Most of what I could find is used with electric cars which have a lot of features in regards to charging, etc.

Australian peeps:

The stock controllers are claiming that the car has not been cleared by the product planning team, so stock cannot be released to dealers yet.

According to the stock controllers, they are under the impression that the launch isn't due until the end of this month. I've asked my dealer to double check to verify this.

So, we're possibly looking at yet another month of waiting. I'm getting very, very sick of this. Where is the communication?

Recently ordered my 2021 i30N DCT - Any news on Black Badges for this model, or are they the same as the pre facelift?
I ordered covers on eBay, but the german hyundai store also has black badges. They seem to be the same as pre-facelift.

EDIT: Only thing I cant find is badges for the side skirts in the colour I want (red-black-white/chrome from left to right) so I might also end up with plasti-dip..

Cheers, shall do some digging on Ebay.

Some thoughts on my PW manual hatch after 9 days of ownership. First i30N I have owned although test drove the first one in 2018. Coming from 2 years in a Leon Cupra dsg. The Cupra was a very good car, almost too good if that makes sense. Was fantastic on motorways, quiet and quick - just a very sterile driving experience given it was meant to be a hot hatch.
Anyway, the N is just brilliant - the main thing is it's FUN! Even running in with the rev limit it's fun and playing with the different set-ups is easy. Main things I have noticed are: the steering is very communicative and way better than the Cupra. It's good to be back in a manual and like the short throw of the gear lever and the feel of the action. Tyres - too soon to push them but no complaints so far. Wheels are just awesome. The info available such as tyre pressures etc really handy and well thought out. The infotainment system is nice and clear and works well, decent sound system. Obviously the pops and bangs are great and appeal to the inner child in me but definitely add to the driving experience. The car has a very 'chunky' feel to it which is what I like and missed in the Cupra.

No real complaints - the turning circle is taking some getting used to and the smaller fuel tank will mean more stops for V-Power but no big deal.

Overall really happy with my choice and looking forward to hitting the 600 miles :)
