relative to the old one, yeah. to the competition not so much.
I guess in a way.
I've posted this before though, The actual value for money is now lost on the N if we are talking mid £30k or plus 40k euros. You can buy a lot of car for £30-£40k in the UK. The selling point for the N was price, it no longer has that!

The prices in the Polish price list equates to around £34,000 for the Fastback N Performance with either the Luxury or Sport pack, and around £33,500 for the Hatchback with the same.
So, all thing being equal, around a10% increase over current prices - Not including any negotiated discounts, of course....
Just that. I know the world is a very different place now, but I drove my tin-top, cloth seat, key start, no option box-ticked poverty pack N Performance out of the dealership for less than 25K pound sterling in your money back in late 2018. So much car for the money. Would I buy one at projected prices now? No effing way.
So the offer that I received is:
List price with transfer and admission 43.530,00 Euro
House price 37.990,00 Euro
That's fully equipped Fastback DCT in Shadow Gray.
Also a bonus information is that the Fastback doesn't come with Assistance Package witch includes Active Blind Spot Assist (BCA) and Cross traffic warning behind with emergency braking function (RCCA)
Don't know the reason why.
And as mentioned before, Navigation Package is included with all DCT models.

Ist Darmas the Dealer who said that with BCA and RCCA, that it is not in the fastback

These prices I’m seeing in Europe so far are brutal, converted into Aussie$$ is around 60k! more expensive than a GR Yaris and Type R, Not to mention the other options you could buy at that price bracket, that’s just ridiculous, the N was great because it was a bang for your buck hot hatch.. not anymore
Fully equipped outgoing model was over 39 000 in the configurator if I am not mistaken so if you consider the DCT upgrade and a how it took over the competition I think they would be stupid not to increase the price. Yes times are hard but they don't give a f**k

Hello , i have been a lurker for a good while . The I30n would have been perfect for me . I have to be able to fit a car in my garage (it's tight) and even though the N is (slightly) larger than my current car it is considerably narrower than golfs/civics/focus . So for size running costs and performance it is perfect , it is surprising how much wider newer cars have got. Boy do i regret not buying one at the end of 2019 they were at a sweet price point then .
These predicted prices are shocking , will they even sell them ? I keep seeing 35k (uk) that is ridiculous , at that price point they should have at least a top quality interior which the N certainly doesn't ( not meant as an insult - full leather and loose the scratchy plastics) .
So would i pay 35k on one - no chance . As others have said you can get so much for that money , i would like to join the n club , hopefully they will discount heavily or the predicted prices are wrong .
What will i do if i can't get one at a reasonable price ? .... Either an F type or XK Jag . Now neither of those will fit in my garage but i could buy used and then rebuild a new garage ( myself ) and i still do that for less than 35k . Not something i wanted to do but i think time is running out on having a decent car with all the emmision regs coming in .
Apologies if this is off topic but i was getting exited for a new N as it was an easy solution for me , i have been in one and was really impressed . I think a lot of other prospective customers will feel similar when (if) they see the new cost .

Speaking to my client and local Hyundai dealer, we will see about a $1500 AUD increase over the current models. I will preface this by saying even the dealer hasnt any accurate pricing when asked. I dont believe the new DCT is going to be priced more than a similar vehicle from one of Hyundai's competitors, it would not make any business sense... then again.

So in the end it's 3k€ difference and you get new lightweight wheels, better infotainment system, new day running lights which I find awesome and ugly backend which has to be painted behind the plate number.
If you get a good deal it shouldn't be much more expensive than current one if you aim to get new.
Every car gets more and more expensive you just need to know if it's the right thing for you.
If there was DCT on the current one I would take second hand but I can't wait more and in 5 years price didn't change so much so I can lose 10k€ and have a brand new car instead giving much more to maintain old car.

If you compare both outgoing model and facelift with manual transmission the price difference is 2000 eur. I consider that a reasonable price increase.
