i30 N 2021 i30 N

That's frustrating, did Motorline Worcester tell you that? Is it a homologation issue of some sort? Can't believe Hyundai want to delay getting new cars on the road!

Yep seems so, completely nuts for companies to not want money lol

Thats awesome! 370hp and 530NM 🤣 i see 11sec 100-200 incoming just with Software. Next Video they will reveal the achieved time. But i think that might just work for the DCT and not the manual Transmission. DCT is same as AWD Kia Sorento Diesel and should be able to handle 500+ NM

That's interesting, I read on the Hyundai global site the new 8 Speed DCT is rated to a maximum of 480Nm. Not sure if you would need to increase the size of the oil cooler, it would be the only easy component that could be upgraded to deal with the extra tourque.

I was thinking the same thing. Still pisses me off that you can't hit NGS whenever you want and that the launch control (stretch to call it launch control, more like RPM hold but that's another topic...) has a cooldown timer. Presumably it's to allow the fluid in the DCT to cool down. Still not sure yet if there is a dedicated cooler for the DCT fluid, but if there isn't I'm putting one in somehow and if there is, it's getting a massive core upgrade.

I just heard of a well-known one that from Monday the facelift is for sale and can also be registered from Monday in Germany and she is going to register her Facelift on Tuesday (Monday is Holiday). She just got to know that from her car dealership

I have a few more general questions, maybe someone can answer them:
- What happens in the process of homologation that makes it hard to give a good ETA of when it is finished?
- Under what premise are the couple i30N FLs driving on the roads already (before homologation)? At least one probably with a special permit as a prototype. But there's more than that, e.g. the one guy who tuned it already. Why are they allowed on the road, but no test drives with dealer-owned cars?
- What configurations does the homolgation include? I would guess DCT/manual have to be homologated separately, what about other "feature combinations" like roof, seats, etc.?
