i30 N 2021 i30 N

I have noticed that the second hand price of I30Ns is holding up really well with several 68 plate cars fetching £22,000, (at dealers) considering a year ago I paid £24,000 for my 19 plate is good news for any of us thinking of selling our cars in the near future. £35,000 for a new one? that's Type R Yaris GR money, will severely hit sales of the new model N I think.

That was based on my incorrect calculation of a 20% increase, forgetting that EU countries still have the Non-Performance version and using the wrong prices (Non-P for before, P for facelift)

Like-for-like seems to be about a 7% increase, so that would equate to around £31,900 for the hatch and £32,450 for the Fastback in the UK if the same level of increase was applied.

Much more swallow-able :)

Bang on mate, couldn't say it better myself. I for one would be looking at alternatives if I was looking to upgrade to the latest model at that price. can get a lot of car for 35-40k if you do a bit of research these days.
And if your prepared to buy a 6 to 9 month old car with less than 10,000 miles (which is the sensible thing to do) then that kind of money will buy you a car on a different planet to the N.

Everybody laughed at me when I ordered my N in december 17.
They told me I would have to pay people to take it from me when I was going to sell it (I always change cars after four years).
It looks like an N is gonna go for around 20000 euro after four years... That's even more than in my wildest dreams. That would mean I would lose about 10K over four years, better than any of my previous cars.
Let's see who will be laughing next year 😁

Likewise. My own brother told me to buy a golf R or and Audi S3 instead as a hyundai will depreciate like a stone and nobody will buy it.

Very funny when they are holding their prices very well! If the price is massively increased for the facelift, this may even benefit the first series of cars prices going forward for the next few years!

If the price of the new model isn't increased by much it might not hamper sales but could drive down the used price of the older models especially since they have been dropping the price of the old models in UK, to clear stocks I guess.

My decision to change will ultimately be based on the cost to upgrade so I hope they offer a good PCP finance package. at launch alternatively with over a year left on my current PCP I can wait until the new model drops in price with offers etc. or alternatively I might have a look at the i20N

I think there won't be much of a price increase, maybe just a slight one if they include some of the new tech in the performance pack as standard.

If you compare the hyundai Austria and Germany configurator you will see that the current i30n is 43 000 eur in Austria and 33 400 eur in Germany. That is a huge difference in price and I am not familiar with their market and laws but I don't think anyone should be looking at their site for future pricing.

Only thing that I can say about Germany is that the car dealer Darmas up in Dortmund already has some pretty good pricing for the new N line models and I think the 2021 i30N with all of the options is going to be around 40 000 eur with at least 5000 - 6000 eur discount at the mentioned dealer. If I am right the price of around 35 000 eur with all of the options checked sound pretty tempting to me. If my predictions are correct I am going to be one of the first one to pull the trigger because it is a no brainer to me.

Fingers crossed that you are right.

Unluckily though, the UK usually gets screwed over when it comes to pricing. TBC

I am also buying the new N at Darmas ✌🏻 Hope of some good Discounts.

Still not sure if those front headlights are an improvement, or not?
i'm keen to know if they are actually better lights than the current ones which could be better range wise.
Anyone know when the UK specs will be released?

Has anyone been given a rough delivery date for their 2021 model yet?

I've been in touch with a few dealerships here in Melbourne, Australia, and some are expecting the first shipment in late February to mid March.

Much sooner than I expected! Would be interesting if we managed to get our cars here Down Under before/at the same time as Europe. We usually have to wait an extra 6 months or more.

I was advised around Easter, but timing would not be confirmed until an order had been placed and processed. Awaiting confirmation from my dealer, now that I have placed my order (signed a couple of weeks ago).

So you could already order one? 😨

So you could already order one? 😨

A handful of Australian dealerships are taking orders now! The dealerships have already put in their trim and colour preferences for the first shipment, apparently.

I've also got one on order (Premium with Sunroof, DCT, Performance Blue). Supposedly it is in production now.

Hyundai HQ hasn't been very forthcoming or transparent with availability or pre-order information here. I've really had to push individual dealerships for it. Unsure if that's also the case in Europe.

My dealer doesn't have any information yet.😥

Does anyone else from Europe have information about it? 😅

Like Hayden, I had to push to establish that an order could in fact be placed. I have a friend who is a sales person for a Hyundai dealership and she never had any info. After I asked a second time and passed on to her some info that it seemed that some others had placed orders, that she was able to establish that it was in-fact the the case. I get the impression she had to push "up the line" and push hard at that, to learn what she did. Even then, all she could confirm was that I could get a Lux Man without sunroof and the colours (oh, and the est. delivery date).

There were no car codes in the dealers system for the car, so the deal had to be written up on an old school NCR sales form. Also, it was only that morning that she was able to establish the model code (different to the car code).

I know a lot more about the car than she does. Her words - they tell us nothing. The only other thing she knew was that it would have a DCT, she didn't even know about the new wheels or seats.
