Kinda looks like a camera to me. Since the i30 doesn't offer a 360 camera system, I'll guess it has something to do with the adaptive cruise control which is now available thanks to the DCT

That's how it is on the i30 at the moment, in Australia at least. Any manual i30 does not have ACC. Perhaps they weren't able to calibrate it the way they wanted in this generation.

N line interior is way nicer than the N..... Nice red stitching, covered cup holders, covered 12v area..... why o why does the N doesn't get that...
That is my thought to. They call it a rise in torque, while my 2018 N delivered 375 Hp and 400 Nm on the rolling road, right out of the box, no tuning. So I don't see any "more" torque...
If it came out the box with 375bhp, can you please direct me to this box. I'd like to exchange mine

I think I still prefer the front end on the current one, not sure I like the DRL in the headlights? I like where they are on mine, but it still looks good, rear I can’t decide yet? But I’ll take those wheels, seats and exhaust tips though..

Might just be a UK weather thing - We don't get enough sunshine to warrant a panoramic roof.....
It's strange they didn't offer the panoramic roof for the UK market as the UK sells thousands of convertibles and other marques with panoramic roofs every year. Hell the minute there is a hint of sunshine you see people driving about with the tops down and heats set to max in the footwell.

Interesting to me is that the Hyundai logo at the front is 3D, so this particular one doesn't have the radar there, and there is the Hyundai logo on the wheel caps, whereas the car for the official media release has the 2D logo at the front and N logo on the wheel caps.
Perhaps market differences or prototype.

Overall cost and price point! Welcome to target marketing 101.
Personally a sunroof is much better and does virtually the same thing, without the creaking and breaking problems.
