RACING THERMOSTAT, FITS HYUNDAI 2.0T on the way;

The Mishimoto racing thermostat significantly lowers high engine temperature produced by modified and upgraded turbo applications. Once the engine is fully warmed up the Mishimoto racing thermostat will open up at a lower temperature than standard VN thermostats, also allowing the coolant to flow through the engine sooner, reducing and maintaining cooler engine temperatures.

what are the changes if it's a "new" design if I may ask? Got the same unit at home but have yet to install it (no clue how complicated the install may be as an non-experienced person, tips are appreciated^^)

The install is easy. Just a bit time consuming. The primary improvement is to the ports dimensions to better match the variable intake runners (VLIM). Better flow and throttle response. The Boomba Intake Spacer you have, is just fine and doesn't need to be replaced. I'm doing so to see the improvement.

The VLIM helps to boost low end performance and throttle response. Once the VLIM is past 3900 rpm it's wide open. :)

Are you going to buy the quantum solenoids? If so, please let us know the difference.... Thanks Bud!

Best regards,

-Mike

Yes that's the plan. I'm in contact with another company in Japan about a similar product but as I can tell right now, they only have it available for the 1.6T Gamma II engine. :)

I'll let you know.
