Kamyk's i30N PB Performance Pack

I will go to hyundai in wednesday and leave my car until thursday for change intercooler, install velossa tech big mouth and purple powerflex.
I have another idea about some more wrapping - this time I'm thinking about sides of the car.
At the end of the week I got an appointment with graphican.

GOOD - My car went for some modifications listed above.
BAD - something tried to eat this hose marked red on the picture.2.jpg
On grey parts of it only signs of small jabs but black part eaten to half of length.
PS I think my kunagone stuff that should protect my car from martens located under the bonnet in yellow sacks got too old.

Sorry for my assumption but the picture shows the lid off so I assumed you were driving with the lid off.

A.N Other may read this and think "hey that's a good idea!".

Or maybe not.

Two better pictures of forge intercooler and velossa tech snorkel:
PS. technicians from Hyundai told me that this forge intercooler is really great part and it is really well made and easy to install.

Two more parts ordered from HDT and waiting for them:
hdt1.jpg
hdt2.jpgAfter that I will go for ECU tuning.
From whole air intake in the car only filter box will stay from oem parts. Tuning at the end of march.

First impression - looks delicate - pipes from rubber are hmmm... too flexible ?
You can see on the picture when I squeeze it without big force.
Maybe it is good - I don't know. Center pipe is aluminium but really thin and light.
Turbo inlet hose is from rubber too and it looks like it is glued from two parts of pipe in the middle.
Pipe elbow from the filter box don't have hole for the hose - you need to cut it yourself - look at the manual on the picture.
Installation - friday.

Take a photo of it and email them. Then ask then to replace it with a paid RMA (return mail authorization) on their dime. For what you paid, they need to make it right! I wouldn't like that myself.:)

Got answer:

" There is nothing wrong. One connector is grinded because it isn't straight on the pipe it has an angle of 5-6 degrees. "

Soooo....I will install it on friday.

I was thinking about getting the HDT Airpipe and Turbo-Inlet myself but didn't do it because of the high price and the lack of effect. When I see your photos (especially the ones from the inlet) I'm very happy I didn't do it - the quality doesn't convince me at all (249 € for this rubber hose - seriously!?). But I'm still curious of your experience after you installed it.

HDT has one of the cheapest airpipes on the market. And the quality is good even when one connector is grinded. They have the only inlet which is cnc milled.
Look at the airpipe prices of Forge, SXTH, Injen and what they all called. They are all much more expensive.

My first impression was not too good because it is expensive and that some lack of paint inside looks weird. I can understand grinding because of making angle for the pipe but ...... please paint it after.
It looks like someone used grinder to cut that pipe and after that used sandpaper to align it but he wiped the colour around that place like a kid not technician.
Now time to see how does it will fit and how it will sound and work.
After it - ECU tuning with fully ready intake - my assumption 300 hp and 450 nm will be great for me.
We will see - end of next week.

Gruppenzwang Intake costs 149 € (stainless steel), Forge Inlet adapter is 199$ + VAT and HDT wants 249 € for a rubber hose. I didn't mention the airpipe at all and although it's cheaper than the competitors' it's kinda weird that you have to cut holes in the elbow yourself.
Don't get me wrong, I have an HDT flex pipe myself.
