i30 N 2021 i30 N

But that wasn't book price. That was around £29k if I remember from when I bought mine 3 years ago. So £32k, for the manual, isn't that bad with everything thrown into the mix!

Doesn't need to be by book price - price on the forecourt is what I'm pricing by - most new ones I was looking at were between £25-26k when I bought mine in early 2020 (just before the CV19 Lockdown) - the new one on the forecourt right now is £34-36k (so little to no discounts on them at all) - Yes that will come down as more become available..

For used ones, some cars on the forecourt with higher miles than my car has are for sale at more than I paid for mine!..

No one is paying what you are quoting for the facelift though.

And yes, used cars have gone through the roof recently.

My local (& useless dealer) cash price for a manual facelift i30n is £32.5K & that's with no options & basic paint.. Do that on PCP is £36K or there about out the door..

for the record i just sold my 2020 i30n premo for 4 grand less than i paid for it 12 months ago.. very happy with holding its value at the moment.

My FL manual was 30k

Agreed, there are already good discounts to be had. People seem to like comparing list price of the facelift to discounted prices on the pre-facelift. 😵‍💫

My local dealer as of todays price out the door inc. all discounts they will give as they were hoping I'd trade mine in for a new one - they also don't have 0 miles on them as staff have had them out on trade plates: 2021-08-04 08_18_34-New Hyundai i30 Cars for sale _ Arnold Clark.png2021-08-04 08_18_14-New Hyundai i30 Cars for sale _ Arnold Clark.png

These were both about £400 or so dearer last week, think they have dropped the premium paint costs..

And those prices are quite a bit higher than you can get one for.

Like I have said, I'm going by the forecourt prices I am seeing around my area & they are all much the same as those above - maybe in England they are cheaper, English dealers are doing better deals to sell them or can get the cars easier & that's fair enough if you can travel to pick one up from further away.

I would have had a performance blue one, but the wait time was in the months for a car, lockdown last year was fast approaching (Scotland went into lockdown a week after I got mine) & they had my clean slate one in stock so I got it - actually prefer clean slate now as it can change colour in different light..

Hi everyone!

I’m thinking of buying an i30N (facelift) and I see some of you started receiving your cars. Can you help me with feedback on the LED Headlights, brightness and distance?

I drove a test car at night and the illumination was not that good, but I feel the headlights were not aligned properly because they only reached about 30m (on the driver’s side). It is worth mentioning that it was raining, but still I find them to have a poor performance.

What do you think?

Low beams are good highbeams arnt great, i had pre facelift and high beams were a bit disapointing. The face lift is slightly better but not by any meaningful way. I live in the country and spend a bit of time in the dark at speed and id prefer better however ive found it adequate to spot things early enough to brake.

there is a dialon the dash to lift and lower the headlight beam, if thats pointed straight down you would think its terrible.

The dial was set to 0 when I drove it and I even asked the dealer to align the headlights before giving me the car, which I saw them do it using the special device they all have.

Just sold my N for only 3k less than I paid for it new over 3yrs ago! Insane!

Good to hear how well they hold their value.

It's crazy for my manual FL, Hyundai have set the GFV at £13,800 after 3 years and that's based on only 6k miles per annum. Surely it would be worth at least £20k. I would be better of paying the optional payment and selling it for a higher price, if I do decide to sell that is.

Probably has been already talked about it But,
Anybody know's exactly how much the I30N Performance Manual (with buckets and no sunroof) weights?
(I know is lighter than the DCT)

Maybe 1400kg or so? Just a guess though, since the first model was around 1450-1480kg, then you cut the weight of the bucket seats, new rims and you come to about 1400.
