i30 N 2021 i30 N

My order of 8DCT was supposed to arrive mid-May, I've called the dealer yesterday and the status of the car is the same (in production), no VIN yet and the ETA was updated to end of May which is in 6 days... I'm 100% not believing this but I really hope to have the car by end of June.

I hope homologation for Poland will be soon <3
I just called my dealer. He said that they (dealers) still have not got any official info regarding the documents, but normally it should not take much longer as Germany already has it. We have to wait for the officials to take care of the translations and printing, then sending docs to dealers to finally speak about possibility of registration. He could not give me any specific date or even estimation, but he also said that Hyundai is going to make it happen ASAP, as they have plenty of money allocated in these cars (about 70 of them waiting to be registered in Poland).

Which dealership you went with? I hope my car's production won't get any additional delays, this way I'd be able to enjoy it as soon as mid-June

I went with Nawrot.
I hope to scrub tires on some corners in two weeks tops. Salesman mentioned that documents for 2021 i30 went through the whole process within a week, so we're really getting there.

Homologation for Germany is done today. U can register cars now.

Mine is delivered 07.07. :)

WLTP 6MT: 8,0/100Km
WLTP 8DCT: 8,4

Thats a bit surprising to me.
Given how long you lot have been waiting though, real world figures will likely be closer to 100L / 8km N mode & bouncing off the limiter straight off the showroom floor. Wishing you all a speedy delivery.

Been given a finance quote by a dealer in the UK for a DCT model with N Light seats in Performance Blue, couldn't get my head around the valuation of the car at the end of the 3 year 10,000 miles/pa agreement, the final payment was around £12,000!? There's surely no way this car is going to devalue that much in 3 years? The pcp really doesn't seem to be that inviting even with a £3000 saving!

tbh you can get a better deal. Yes, it won't impact the GFV at the end of the 3 years, but you will pay a lot less per month and overall.

I mentioned it on here before, but I was getting quotes for £3k off too. Then went on to coast2coastcars entered my spec (different to yours) and a Hyundai dealer called me the next day with a better deal. Ordered it pretty much straight away. Just need to be prepared to travel and also wait for a factory build.

The quote for your spec, DCT with N seats and PB is coming through at £31,394. Comparing that to the original list price, it's a saving of over £5k. With that sort of saving + interest, the GFV shouldn't matter as much as you can pay it and sell it for what it's really worth after 3 years or even just plan to keep it. Or as someone mentioned, use the equity left in the car for a deposit on the next one.

Sorry I made an error in my original post, the GFV I quoted was for 4 years and not three. I was contacted by coast2coast cars, they said the price listed on the website is incorrect as it doesn't include the first year tax of £1345!

I've just had a call from a UK dealer who confirmed what Super Ted says.

He said Hyundai will not let any car be registered before 24th June at the earliest.
Have the insurance companies got the new model listed yet? Be interested to see how the quotes compare with current model.

Could I ask what was the first year road tax on the pre-facelift I30N? I couldn't get over the £1345 figure for the facelift!

Car must be really pumping out fumes in the DCT variant given the Mk8 Golf R makes under the 190g/km bracket
