Why not a carbon fibre hood first? ;)
Waiting, on one from N-Performance. Don't want what is offered by several US companies. They require the bracing from the OEM hood and I'm not going to take it apart. I can sell the painted hood at a profit, while offsetting the cost of the N-Performance hood.:)

Everything is going to be painted anyway to the VN Racing Red along with the CF Fenders from SC Garage Works. Raw CF is fine, if you want to advertise it but it's best painted to protect it from the elements. :)

I recall you got the Breck's tow hook and strap, out of curiosity how much did you get them for? Can DM me if you prefer not to post price

Here ya go:

Carbon fiber $2300 AU:

Fiber glass $1200 AU:

Both available with or without vents. Fully done, no supports needed. Australian Design Rules approved.

@Davo01 Thanks mate and nice try but it won't won't fit the VN just the i30N.:)

Wow. And here I thought the N Performance Intake was expensive. 😂 That Sxth element intake doesnt look good enough to be worth $500. And yes, the carbon looks good. But its ruined with the silicone that goes to the intake box. But thats just me.

Typically, didn't consider diverting it back into the intake tube. It's not a big deal to add one either. :)

With the right size grommet, hole and L-Tube Adapter, it's no issue. They can even utilize a threaded 90 degree adapter. to make it snug on the tube. They used a grommet on both the other two tubes.:D

Besides the nicer carbon look it's really no different than the Tekada Momentum intake. A lot more pieces that's for sure. Piping looks bigger but still has to be reduced to fit the stock turbo tube. I bet it would work great with the Forge Turbo Tube. Looks like it would. Looks nice though.

Best regards,

Have you installed these yet? Curious what shows through them? I'm assuming might have to spray paint some of the sound insulation or bumper foam black so it doesn't show through. Seem like they would be functional to reduce pressure back there though?

Thats beautiful and i want it immediately.

Would it fit a i30n hatchback?
I honestly can't say. Look at the OEM Intake tubing, this will give you a better idea, then compare it to the SXTH Element air box.
Damn. Forgot you had the Veloster!! Showing my age lol.
😅 At my age, I'm happy I remembered to go the bathroom and where the bike is. The rest is just gravy on top.:D

Not yet but I still have to do both the front and back. I'll make sure I post the install and results. To the other part, yes they will be functional and reduce pressure. I will be painting the areas behind the mesh inserts.:)

PS; What's nice is, the OEM inserts are just bolted in so they come out quickly and without the need to cut.
